I haven't been to Sherry since early 2000s I would say. I went today as I wanted to do my brows, chin and upper lip. I asked for my brows to be threaded and the other two waxed. She didn't take too much off asked asked. I decided to get underarm waxed and asked can the stick be new. She said of course. As the stick for my face was re dipped many times. Places need to stop reusing sticks! Its not sanitary and its inexpensive to replace them! She used a small container to put the wax in as there is no waxer in the back room. If you want to use the same stick and double dip, then use a small container on the person and wash it out afterwards. I would hope she didn't use the stick she was using on me to get the wax as she had to refill the container a few times. I asked for hard wax and she did soft wax saying it be better. But kept having to go over the area and finally got some hard wax and used the strip to pull it off which I never seen done before. Total was $26. When I got home, had quite a bit of chin hairs to remove. With the waxing and threading I would of expected less than what I tweezed. Also had to tweeze underarms as the wax didn't get all of the hairs! Which is why I asked for hard wax to start with. I have used microwave hard wax and sugar wax before and it def came in handy. I wish I could give zero stars!! I went with a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. When I was in the skeptical small curtain room I showed the lady for the wax the Groupon and she said ok yeah we take it. She performed the wax, which was ehh, at the end she hurt me a lot! Once the service was done I got myself together and went to tip her and make sure I properly redeem the Groupon. I hand her the 20$ tip (which was pure generosity considering the horrible job) and she looks at me like what? So I’m like your tip and do I mark the Groupon now? She gets on the phone and calls whom ever it was who proceeded to tell me I was “fraudulent “ she then told the wax lady to get the hairdresser, they were trying to intimidate me and I let them know it’s not the money it’s the principle. She has her business up on Groupon then when you get there she says no no. I paid after talking for about 5 minutes and realizing they didn’t get it or care left no tip. Very horrible customer service fist and last time. I do not recommend anyone go here. Extremely horrific experience

This salon is bad, well from my experience. Me and my cousin went to go get our henna done and me and her never had an allergic reaction to henna ever. But after we got our henna done bumps appeared on our hands and our hands started burning and turned red. I’m not sure if it’s because the salon is not sanitary or if it’s because they don’t clean the henna cones or while the lady was doing my hand she itches her hair with the henna cone. I’m very scared because tomorrow is eid and I don’t wanna end up in the er. Please be safe when coming...
