Horrible service from this short guy with an american flag hat who was speaking sylheti he refused to give his name. First thing he does not have any interest doing the job. Clearly being forced to do his job for the money I assume. I clearly asked him to heat my food. He said it was hot which was not the case, then he leaves the bag on the counter and I ask for spoons/fork and tissue he goes I thought you were going to eat it at home thats why I didn’t give it. This is the first time I heard something like that, that the person giving service can assume what the customer will be doing with the food. Even if I were to eat at home anybody would expect utensils with their food. I left and started to eat my food and it was no where near warm let alone hot. I went back and clearly straight up in front of people he says I never asked for it to be warmed. Still he claimed its hot. Making me look like a liar. If you look through the cameras you will see all the behaviors I am talking about here. After heating the food he puts it in the bag and tries to leave the bag further from where we were standing and walks away mumbling. That was so disrespectful and I went up the counter and asked for his name and asked him why is working there if he’s going to be disrespectful and doesn’t want to do his job not like I’m asking for free service. Then he starts being verbally disrespectful and the other guy working with him that is older doesn’t even care. Look at the cameras you will see the whole thing. Happened today around 2ish. I wouldn’t want my brand to be advertised by a...

It's really sad to see a Bengali restaurant like Premium sweets and restaurants in Jamaica, NY, 11432 serving spoiled, bad-smelling food that has expired. What's even worse is that they're getting away with it and have the audacity to argue even after serving expired food. Only a few of these business owners are honest in their operations. Ultimately, they're mainly focused on making money in busy areas.
Last time, during the Awami League iftar party, Panshi Restaurant served grilled chicken that had maggots in it. People were furious and wanted to beat up the owner. However, I believe that instead of resorting to violence, it would be more appropriate to take real action by complaining to the proper authority so that appropriate measures can be taken.
There was a time when Premium Restaurant in Jamaica would leave stinky garbage bags on the streets, making it hard for people to walk. But some of us took action by reporting the problem to 311. As a result, these restaurants faced significant penalties, and now they properly dispose of their garbage.
Let's unite as a community to make things better. If you come across a restaurant serving expired food, call 311 and report please. Additionally, share a post on social media to spread awareness among people.
It's not only our duty, but it's also a responsibility and a blessing from Allah to take such actions and improve...
Read moreA flavorful slice of Bangladesh in the heart of New York. Premium Sweets & Restaurant is a go-to destination for anyone craving authentic Bangladeshi cuisine and traditional sweets. I’ve visited both the Jackson Heights and Jamaica locations, and each time I’ve been greeted with the warm aroma of spices and the comforting buzz of a community gathering spot.
The menu is rich with classics—kachchi biryani, beef tehari, chicken roast, and a variety of bhartas that taste just like home cooking. The sweets counter is a highlight, offering everything from roshogolla to gulab jamun, all beautifully presented and freshly made. Their dal and chal combo at the Dal & Chal branch in Jamaica is especially satisfying, and the lobster curry is a standout dish for seafood lovers.
Service can vary depending on the time of day, but the staff are generally courteous and eager to help. The ambiance is casual and family-friendly, with a steady stream of regulars that speaks to its popularity. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous.
Whether you’re Bangladeshi or just exploring South Asian flavors, Premium Sweets delivers a nostalgic and flavorful experience. It’s not just a meal—it’s a cultural connection...
