We had the very best experience shopping here! Customer service was unbelievable. I had my eye on Shinola watches for months and had been religiously viewing the website for the last week or so and finally decided to go and try them on in person to see what watch was the best fit for me. Sean and Reed (sorry if misspelled) were both courteous, professional and patient- all things I need in a sales professional. I finally decided on the perfect watch to take home. As we were driving back home (we don’t live in the city), I noticed there were a few imperfections on my new watch and called the store immediately. They were so kind and offered to replace the watch, so we ended up driving back down the next day. I was really nervous going back inside because I don’t like to complain, but I spent what was a lot of money for me, and wanted the watch to be perfect- at least for the first few days. They were so kind when we came back in and offered us a small gift to apologize and thank us for coming back in. We were OVER THE MOON with the level of customer service that Sean, Reed and Spencer provided us and will be lifelong customers to this...
Read moreI came across this store as I'm in this neighborhood everyday. I feel like the location is a bit obscure for most people to take notice and take a hike here. But if you do venture in, the store is very aesthetically pleasing. They have a variety of leather goods, watches, notebooks, and even bikes. I bought a couple of notebooks which I had custom engraved at no charge. The lady who help me do the engraving was super friendly, and the staff are really nice. Although the engraving was free, the notebooks and other products are a bit pricey.
They deserve 3 stars because the handful of staff putting up the installation in the front of their store were a bunch of snobs. They were so unfriendly when a customer asked what they were doing, and they sprawled all over the seats so no customers could be seated. This staff has not been definitive of my experience here, but it has certainly left me...
Read moreI haven't been to this store in a couple of years, but since the SoHo one closed, I had no choice. I needed a new battery for one of my time pieces. I like how they replace the battery in house. The service was done in about 10 minutes. I wasn't happy that they now charge for the battery replacement. I own a SHINOLA & FILSON, for about 7 years now. Never had to pay for a battery. Also, this store was dead. I was the only customer in there. Reason being, the staff was soooo unfriendly. The woman, who was monitoring the main floor, barely said hello and was tooo busy on her phone. A man who was at the back counter, directed me to the front where the battery was changed. The woman who changed the battery was efficeint, but barely said a word. The energy of this store was like an old folks home. At least play some music on the turntables that...
