I didn’t have a google account before this Thom Browne experience but felt I needed to share, and btw I love the Thom Browne brand.
Such a disappointment from a luxury brand. My wife and I were shopping for suits and tuxedos, the sales staff didn’t acknowledge us for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Being a Brit we apologise for everything, I felt I had to apologise to the staff because I was asking them for service. We were the only ones in the store while 3-4 sales staff just huddled in the corner. When asked where the men’s section was I was just pointed and told “down the corridor” I would have appreciated the staff asking/showing me based on what we were shopping for.
When we did get service it wasn’t even half hearted. You could feel the tension from the sales staff it was palatable almost as if we were bothering them.
Instead we went to Burberry on Spring St we called them in only 5 minutes in advance and told them what we were looking for, they kept the store open late for us as we were rushing. When we arrived the fitting room was laid out with all the suits and tuxedos in my size. The sales staff, specifically Randy, and tailor stayed with us for over an hour and were in no means rushing us out, even though it was after closing. We walked out with two...
Read moreCustomer service was way below expectations especially considering this was high end retail. I ordered a pair of trousers that I liked that were on sale online and it was a size too small. I called and made an appointment and told them of the situation. I was told that they were able to size it and hem the pants free of charge. I go in the store with an anticipation that I was going to come out with my pants fitted but the guy just told me that I suggest losing some weight. He offered me pair of pants to try on to see my size. I wasn’t aware that the store and the website operated differently and that I would have no other choice but to return the pants. The guy provided vague details as for the process and I had to literally ask him everything. He didn't even suggest for an exchange or offer service for some different pants. He did mention that I look at the sale section if there was anything I liked. Really disappointing to have to experience that. Please do better...
Read moreHad an awful experience. They made me feel as if I were a credit card scammer, beacuse I forgot my wallet in my car so I asked if I could use my apple pay. I was upset they made me feel that type of way by bringing of credit card scamming quite a few times.
So I ended going back to my car grabbing my wallet . Came back to the store gave them my drivers id and credit card and for some reason the guy helping me takes my credit card and drivers id and brings it to the back . They definitely made a copy of both my cards .
Im not worried that the made copies of my cards beacuse I have nothing to hide just upset they(nyc thom brown employees) treat certain people different just beacuse of the way they dress look or speak .
I shop a lot at high end places this has to be the worst customer service I have ever received.
I still ended up buying a thom brown sweatsuit because the brands great, but the people working their are not! They definitely need to...
