In my opinion it’s no reason for staples to ask for my number to text me when the order is ready if they are not going to keep up with the orders . It’s absurd to advertise same day business services and the order is done in the evening and/or not done . Let’s talk about the customer services as to how I’m able to wait 23 mins for someone to look up a six digit number is unacceptable. It’s not fair to have to be treated with that much delay you don’t even receive when paying a phone bill for that reason alone myb headquarters needs to do some investigation there if the employees there September 9 ,2025 don’t want to do their job . I purchased business cards which were supposed to be available for pick up today, I call them an hour before I need to pick them up and the representative says they'll be available by 7:30pm. When I go to the store the person in the front desk overlooks me though I'm in the front of a straight line (sure that had nothing to do with me being brown), then when I get her attention she takes my order number and says my cards will be ready tomorrow. They couldn't tell me that over the phone, or send me an email, I had to literally commute down there from another borough to get an answer I could have received by phone! Read moreThe print service at this Staples is disorganized, unreliable and needs improving. My document was not printed at the requested time(Monday). I was instructed to email the instructions (which I did on Friday). But when I came to pick up the item at 12noon it was not printed. The person at the desk apologized and gave me a discount and told me it will be ready at 3pm, for this I am grateful. But when I returned at 4pm the item was not printed. I had to wait another ~45 mins for the item to be ready( highly frustrating).
The store manager only had one person at the front (in print) and that person was swamped with trying to juggle the many customers.
I discovered the print team had not opened my email. A proper queue system should be setup for messages received. An employee should be responsible for reviewing emails prior to the end of the shift to ensure there are no emails that are missed.
