This restaurant was a big surprise for me. From the outside, it looks more like a bar/lounge but the actually restaurant had a really decent menu. The music was really good too. The overall atmosphere of the place was nice. We ordered a bunch of different items off the menu. The Quinoa Burger and the Dickens Big Mac were a hit and the Chicken Avocado Wrap is worth mentioning as a great dish also. The truffle Parm fries are really good as well.
Something to take note: the restaurant has a 90-minute bottomless dinner. It's like a bottomless brunch but it's whenever you want. If you're in a party of 2 or more, everyone has to participate in the bottomless dinner....no exceptions (unless you're pregnant). Make sure that your group agrees on it before you sit or there will be a tough decision to make. The drinks include wine, bubbly, high noon, frozen margaritas, well drinks, and flavored (cucumber) margaritas. The plain margaritas are better than the cucumber ones. In order to get the bottomless, you have to order an entree or a small plate that's valued at $17 and above. Oddly specific but okay.
The best part about our visit was the service. Daisy was our server and she was attentive, kind, knowledgeable on the menu, and simply pleasant to be around. My entire party made quite a few comments about how awesome she was during our service. We would definitely go there again for...
Read moreNo pulse on the first floor bar. Disappointed. Was hoping for interaction since I sat at the bar. I own a business so would never sink a business especially on first visit. Mostly ignored on at first floor bar. Good ambiance, upscale but I came for martinis and dinner. Was going to call it but decided to check the rest of the space. Glad I did. I’ll give them another whirl on another night. Martini was decent, stirred not shaken, I’m sure they would have shaken if I requested but didn’t want to be too pretentious. I had the coconut shrimp down stairs. They were good but would be better with a more interesting sauce like mango salsa or something other than tarter. Went upstairs for dinner with wine. Much better vibe upstairs this night. Had the short rib and a nice pour of cabaret in the second floor rear bar. I was early before six so probably a pre-theatre crowd. Would like to check out a local Hell’s Kitchen crowd off season. Upstairs front has upscale martini lounge vibe. There’s a third floor which was closed. Overall: good vibe, nice martini bar ambiance with upscale bar food, reasonably priced for theatre district. Personally: Would be nice to experience mire of a Hell’s Kitchen local...
Read moreWe had read previous reviews and were really looking forward to going to your bar. We arrived and the atmosphere was good. However, after being served, the barman told my girlfriend, in an angry tone, when she chose to not tip him for serving us two drinks that, " in New York if you don't tip you don't get served". We then moved to two free seats at a table with our drinks and the same staff member came over to us asking if we had cleared it with the door staff to sit at a table as the tables require a reservation. We said that we didn't know that we had to and there was nothing on the table to tell us the area was reserved. He then stated that he would speak to the manager to have us removed from the area. Feeling uncomfortable and disappointed we finished our drinks and left. It left a really bitter taste on a very friendly evening that we had experienced earlier in a bar in Hells Kitchen where service was outstanding and where we had tipped accordingly. Obviously our review is more of a reflection on one staff member but nevertheless it was such a negative experience that it coloured the rest of our night. I would be happy to discuss any issues that I have raised with the...
