Took a Stop The Bleed class today. Really enjoyed the presentation and hands-on skills. This was perfect and I feel like I learned everything I need to learn without all the time-filler that you get in other classes. Straight to the point and detailed enough to cover everything. I think this was an excellent class and I highly recommend it. I was a volunteer firefighter for years and am currently an industrial firefighter and I believe this was the most efficient, effective training I have taken. Ismail and Betty were amazing trainers. They were both informative, knowledge, and experienced. We covered CPR training, various first aid topics (how to use different tourniquets, how to bandage and apply appropriate pressure, proper disposal of contaminated equipment, bleeding, etc), handling emergency situations, seizures, administering Heimlich maneuver on children vs adults vs self, etc. They showed us all the most up-to-date procedures.
