I called to ask about a hat that I need for a role I am playing in a controversial movie. When I told the lady owner person that picked up the phone that my role is a womanizer a$$hole she responded: “ ohh, just like every other man!” And she didn’t sound like she was joking!!!
I made it very clear that it’s a movie role, and she pretty much said that it’s not an act, I’m already that person! I don’t know why a business owner in NY would be so shallow.
We (New Yorkers) are know to be strong for our diversity. It is our differences that make New York a hotspot for progressive and positive ideas.

Read moreI came all the way from CA to visit this shop. I entered with an immunocompromised relative. We were in the store for about 4 minutes before the employee told us that she had Covid and to stand back a little bit. She was wearing a loose surgical mask, and there were no air purifiers. Now our vacation has been put at risk and my relative is at risk of falling ill. Really...

I was ridiculed for not having English as my first language. The sales person was super rude ( she said it wasn't her problem if I don't understand English) . The details on the hat show very poor quality even though they said it was hand mede. I have seen very similar hats for 30$ on the streets. Also a few months later, the hat lost its shape and looks terrible. NOT...
