Such a horrible place! Starting with the Director. If you are thinking of leaving your kids here, please do yourself the favor and don’t! The director is extremely unprofessional, she’s just money hungry. I was told we would be able to watch the cameras from home, that was a lie, then all of these hidden fees was attached after we signed our 2 kids up which was the biggest mistake. I had no idea other parents was feeling this way, but happy I’m not alone. I took my kids out right away, like everyone is saying, the last minute closing, trying to charge $200 a month for chicken nuggets everyday is beyond insane! There was never anyone at the front to answer the door, always short staffed which is VERY unsafe environment. The Director was never there to address any concerns. No one was ever at the front desk to answer the phone or the door, Dr Walton is very inconsiderate and unapologetic about is most of all. The way I witnessed her speaking to one of her staff members was truly a disgrace to say the least. I usually don’t do reviews, however I could NOT help myself and if I could help another parent by not enrolling there child into this unprofessional place, I will. The director pretends everything is so sweet, until everyone will see for themselves...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but as a parent, I feel obligated to share my experience. This was my son’s very first daycare, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing one. From the beginning, I was misled — there were several hidden fees that weren’t disclosed until after enrollment, and I was promised access to cameras to check in on my child, which never happened.
The staff, including the director, came across as phony and lacking genuine care. My son was clearly unhappy there. Every drop-off was filled with tears, and instead of working with us to help him adjust, they would call me to pick him up because he “cried too much.” One time, they called me less than an hour after drop-off because he threw up — and it wasn’t even serious. It felt like they just didn’t want to deal with him.
I ultimately made the decision to remove him, and it was the best thing I could’ve done. The very first day at his new daycare, he was smiling and thriving. That contrast told me everything I needed to know.
Parents, please do your research. A daycare should feel like a second home for your child — not a...
Read moreMy daughter has been attending The Learning Experience at 472 Atlantic Avenue since she was just 12 months old—before she could even walk—and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for this school. From the very beginning, the staff has been loving, nurturing, and truly invested in her development. They’ve become more than just caregivers—they’re like family to us.
The teachers and staff are incredibly understanding and flexible, always working with my schedule and making sure my daughter feels safe, supported, and happy. It’s been amazing to watch her grow here. She’s now 2 years old, thriving, confident, and already showing signs of being ahead for her age. Her vocabulary, social skills, and curiosity are beyond what I expected, and I know that’s thanks to the incredible learning environment they’ve created.
If you’re looking for a daycare that offers a caring, structured, and enriching experience, I highly recommend The Learning Experience on Atlantic. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made...
