Came here for the second time today. Was not very happy with my first set of nails by them about three to four weeks ago but I decided to give them another chance because the staff was very friendly at my last appointment. However, after the experience my partner and I had there today, I will never go back. First off, they are not upfront about any additional costs associated with any add ons to your nails such as chrome, cat eye, nail stickers etc. This is a very deceptive practice & all pricing should be displayed for customers to see or they should be informed of the pricing before deciding whether or not they want to continue with any add ons. $98 for a mediocre hard gel refill with chrome & two nail stickers (probably from amazon) is absurd. The worst part about this experience was the way I was spoken to by who I presume was the owner/manager. My partner was not happy with her nails after we left. She did a gel x set and decided to do a brown french tip manicure. After we left, we realized that the quality of the nails was not good and it had only been an hour since we left and were still in the area so we decided to go back and ask if we can fix it. When we got back to the salon to speak with the employees, we asked if it would be possible for my partner to come back tomorrow to get a polish change since she was not happy with the color or the quality of the french tip manicure itself and we could not stay today to get it fixed. We were told that they "never change polish for their customers" and that "they did not pick the color." I have never been to a nail salon that would not fix the quality of the work that their customer was unhappy with ESPECIALLY a customer that came back within the hour and spent over $120+ on their nails. You may not have picked the color that she chose, however, that has nothing to do with the fact that the gel x set was horrible quality ESPECIALLY for costing over $120. She then proceeded to tell us that if we did not like it that we can find another nail salon that we like better to go to. This is not how you treat or retain customers. Saying you will make a one time exception to change the polish doesn't mean anything when you took no accountability for the quality of nails that you produced and make it seem like it is the customers fault. What a horrible way to treat people. I will never be back & suggest you don't even waste your time...

I get gel-x extensions at Unicorn Nails regularly and each set has been beautiful and lasted well over a month. Xiyun is so meticulous and hard-working. She is there round the clock and I have never needed an appointment to see her. I have been tempted to gate keep but truly she deserves all the business she can get! The one thing I will say is if youāre going to come to Unicorn, donāt be in a rush!! Xiyun puts an incredible amount of time and effort into to giving you beautiful nails that LAST! I would recommend allowing at least 2 hours for a gel-x appointment. Seriously cannot recommend Unicorn enough! Already looking forward to...

They don't use any soap or anything to soften the skin, just water. They use rags instead of towels (yellow microfiber rags that are disgusting and dirty). I went in the morning at 10.30 was empty . There were two of them. One did my feet and the other did my hands standing up. I left with back pain from being twisted to have my hands done. It's really a disaster.
