Sultan Mediterranean Cuisine is a hidden gem on the Upper East Side of Lexington Avenue! I stumbled upon this cozy spot after a haircut, and I’m so glad I did. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy an authentic Mediterranean meal. I ordered my go-to traditional dishes, and they did not disappoint. The service was outstanding—attentive and friendly. The food? Absolutely incredible! The falafels were perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The rice was simply to die for, the salad was fresh and flavorful, and the lentil soup—oh my God! It was rich, comforting, and full of authentic Middle Eastern flavors. Every bite transported me outside the U.S., right back to the flavors of the Middle East. If you're looking for an authentic Mediterranean experience, I highly recommend Sultan Mediterranean Cuisine!

Very nice Greek restaurant. The place inside is massive and beautiful. But since I am a patio person I got one of the great tables outside, they have these special 3 course lunch for 32$ I had the Greek salad which was super fresh and delicious. Even the table beside me asked about it because it did look very appetizing. The main course was a bit of a throw back because the most interesting plates required an extra charge of 22$ which was a bit overpriced in my humble opinion. So I got the chicken which was covered by the menu and it was delicious as well. The guy that runs the water looked a bit like he hated his job but the servers were very nice. At that day was incredible hot so I was drinking a lot of water and they never let my glass go empty. Super positive experience and totally recommended and will definitely go back on my next visit to ny

For the amount of times I have been to this restaurant and how much I’ve enjoyed their food, I’m shocked at how I was treated today. Today I had reservations for a party of 2 and had called earlier in the day to ask for a table indoors rather than outside on the street because of my allergies. I’ve never had any issues sitting outside before and have done so many times but today my allergies have been terrible so I had called and asked for a table inside and the guy said they will accommodate. I drove here for 2 hours and after getting here I was told “no you have to sit outside and we don’t determine beforehand who sits indoors and who sits outdoors”. If that’s true, then you had 2 tables available inside and refused to let me sit there and said those are reserved, which I too had reservations so how did you decide there who got to sit inside and who didn’t? I explained that I called and spoke to someone about sitting indoors but the guy was so rude and disrespectful! I walked out and will never return here ever again! They lost a long time customer today for good! I’d rather spend my money elsewhere then here where they don’t have respect for...

I had the pleasure of dining at Sultan Mediterranean Cuisine on the Upper East Side, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The meal began with a variety of soups and dips, each more flavorful than the last. The lentil soup was rich and comforting, and the array of dips—especially the hummus and baba ganoush were so delicious. The manti (Turkish dumplings) were absolutely outstanding—delicate, tender, and filled with savory, perfectly seasoned meat. I have had this dish many times but here It was unforgettable. Something I’ll be craving again soon.

Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. The wait staff and owner were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely—clean, bright, and inviting, with a calm, modern yet cozy atmosphere that made it perfect for a relaxed meal.

Sultan Mediterranean Cuisine is a true gem, offering an exceptional combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and a beautiful setting. I can’t...
