UP NYC — Local services in New York

My 12 year old son had been wanting to check this place out since he started going to school up the block. I walked in with him and his friend who each had money and wanted to get a pair of shorts or sneakers. No one, absolutely no one, acknowledged our presence. The store was empty and it was not like they were busy. The girls were on their phones and the guy just walked right passed us not even asking if we needed help. We walked around the store waiting for some one to offer their assistance and it never happened. Highly disappointed we walked out. Best Sneaker/Fashion Store in NYC. Prices can't be beat and inventory can't be beat. One of the most fun and honest shopping experiences ive ever had. Been to all 3 locations and honestly they make you feel like family when you are there. Best collection of sneakers for retail price, never an upsell (they not trying to make an extra 40-100$ off of you like most sneaker places or resellers) So you won't feel ripped off like other shops in NYC. After being on line waiting for the store to open for 2/12 hrs. I can honestly say this was Literally one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Trying to get a pair of Nike sneakers. The staff seemed unprepared for a high anticipated sneaker release. The young lady at the register seemed overwhelmed and confused as what was needed at the time of service. She yelled at both me and my mom when we simply asked for a size change. I was highly embarrassed and disappointed at the end of the transaction.
