Manhattan bound traffic is usually very slow Monday thru Friday mornings. Even more so if the FDR is backed up. There is only one lane that allows you to make a left onto Lexington and that lane can get backed up more than halfway back up the bridge. If you're anything like me there is a lane to the right of that which is to only be used to continue straight forward but a lot of. Cars use it as another left turn lane. Read moreFor most of 2017, this bridge had its lane markings faded away. Two of the several lanes that are coming from Third Avenue in the Bronx merge together on the bridge.
