Jane and her staff are extremely courteous, tremendously patient, and just amazing. Jane is thorough in her pain assessment, clearly explaining the process or answering questions as needed, and often considers other relevant or related conditions when creating the general treatment plan. She pays close attention to the immediate and delayed reactions to treatments and changes the plan accordingly. I especially like having one assigned massage therapist for the entire process and that Jane works very closely with her to ensure the proper treatment plan is executed. Lily, a very patient massage therapist, is firm but gentle and always puts me at ease before the session. Very mindful of any particular body sensitivity, she too encourages feedback before, during and after treatment. Jenny, another therapist, is also great for those very stubborn knots and kinks. The East 60th Street office is very clean and the wait is usually no more than a few minutes. Farvana, the receptionist, remembers every one by name and serves to create a warm and easy atmosphere -- very helpful when you're already in pain. All in all this is definitely a great team for pain treatment. Very happy I was referred to...
Read moreI first visited Tammy Huang last year when I was advised surgery by hip doctors for Labrar tear, hip bursitis, and severe hip pain (unable to walk or stand) from aggressive peloton spinning classes. I was in grave amount of pain 24x7 despite doing PT and pain killers 24 hrs.
Acupuncturist Tammy asked me to start sessions thrice a week and I did. Within 2 weeks and 6 sessions my pain fully disappeared unless I walked 5-10 mins continuously. I continued taking the accupuncture and DDS massage for 30 mins and my hip pain became manageable where I was not in 24x7 pain and instead it hurt when I walked longer times. Tammy has been a god’s blessing helping me with pains throughout the body (cervical pinched nerves, lumbar pinched nerves, hip and knee tears, plantar fasciitis) .Their practice has been amazing where they cover acupuncture, 30 minutes medical massage/DDS Massage and physical therapy in your insurance. I pay zero dollars for 75 mins of treatment which includes all the above. Recently I have been taking treatments from Rebecca and she is an amazing medical masseuse and acupuncturist.
Thank you Tammy! And now...
Read moreAfter trying many different physical therapy clinics over the years, I finally found the one that truly stands out—Wongs Acupuncture. I’ve been coming here for several years now, and it’s by far the best experience I’ve had. The therapists are highly skilled, attentive, and genuinely care about your recovery and well-being. Their personalized approach and consistent support have made a real difference in my progress.
They recently moved to a new location (425 Fifth Ave., Unit 4A), and it’s absolutely beautiful. The office is bright, modern, and welcoming—an environment that perfectly reflects the quality of care they provide. The new location is also very convenient and easy to get to.
I also want to mention how friendly and professional the entire staff is, from the therapists to the receptionist. Everyone creates a warm, positive atmosphere that makes each visit a pleasant experience.
I’m so glad I found Wongs Acupuncture, and I’m excited to continue my therapy in their beautiful new office. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional physical / acupuncture...
