WORST service I have EVER received at a nail salon. Usually I don't leave bad reviews because everyone makes mistakes and has off days, but this place has systemic issues due to rudeness of the management and terrible training of their staff.
The owners are an older Asian couple, and while the husband works the cash register, the wife does nails. The husband was polite enough, if not a little pushy with the hard sells. The wife on the other hand was clearly shooting me dirty looks for brining a friend along for company who didn't want her nails done (The salon was nearly empty and she wasn't taking up any otherwise useful space or even talking).
After stripping my old manicure, the girl doing my nails just stopped and stated my bill out loud. I sat there confused for a moment about what she meant, until I asked if she wanted me to pay her before she started? She awkwardly looked at the owner and nodded yes. Now, I'm not from around this area, but I have been to other nail salons and NEVER have I paid for services BEFORE they're given! So I just shrugged and paid, thinking it was an odd management quirk.
The girl doing my nails barely spoke English, which usually isn't an issue at all, but she literally could not understand that I wanted parallel lines on the design- in fact she had never done the design before despite it being picked from a pre-selected set of designs that the shop provided... in the end I just gave up my useless miming and let her do what she pleased.
In the end I walked up to the register to pay the extra $5 which I owed for the design, and instead of handing me the bill politely, the wife yelled at the husband across the shop that I still owed $5 before I left, and he hurried to the front to collect it from me.
I'm honestly shocked- I've never received this type of treatment, and usually tip very well, but this time I settled the bill and walked out. So a man approaches to guide me⌠Then I ask for a simple cloudy design with acrylic, the head of the nail shop doesnât perform a manicure like I asked her to on the phone, and instead of pushing back my cuticles and ensuring my nails are clean she goes straight into putting on the acrylic nails. I asked if she could do a specific very simple design such as clear/ cloudy nails and she doesnât understand even with the images. I had to choose something easy for her because she is not creative and can recreate simple designs. Still ended up paying $80 for nails that are coming off 1 week after getting it done.    Read moreI have never witnessed anyone being so rude to their customers as they were to me. They were the rudest owners I have ever met due to the fact that they were forcing me to pay $50. When I went they told me it would be $20 for a refill plus $5 to trim the nails but when they rang me up it became double. When I argued that I am not paying this amount the lady yelled at me saying to sit down because she was going to take my nails off which took 2 hours to do. I was not with it. Overall, they suck. Never going back again. Only after the money and not the satisfaction of their customers.
