I was in that area making deliveries when a homeless guy came up to me asking for some spare change. He was walking in slippers, and his feet looked really bad. His feet were so bad and dried out that you can see deep cracks in the back of his heels. I told him that instead of me giving him some money that I would pay for him to get a pedicure. At first, he didn't want to do it, but I finally convinced him to have his feet done. So I told him to wait right here while I go inside to see how much it costs. So I went inside. I go in and ask one of the employees how much for a pedicure, and she told me $25. I told her I would be paying for someone to get a pedicure, and I would be right back. So I go outside and bring the guy in. As I brought him into the nail salon, I didn't notice a reaction from anyone's face at how disheveled the man looked. Maybe from one or two customers but not from the employees that work there. So I pull out my card to pay for the pedicure and I kind of notice a couple of the woman that work there were speaking in Spanish to each other but I didn't get the feeling that they didn't want him there. As the lady is swiping my card, it's not going through for some apparent reason. (In hindsight, I think she was pressing the wrong buttons on purpose). So she starts speaking in Spanish to another lady who is in the back while still trying to swipe my card. It was taking too long, so I decided to pay her in cash. I made sure everything was all right with the homeless dude before I left out the door to finish doing my deliveries. So I walked down the street and get in my work vehicle and just before I was about to pull off I see the lady that I paid, for the pedicure, come walking towards me with money in her hand. So she flags me down to tell me to hold on for a minute. I already knew what it was when I saw that money in her hand. I knew right then and there they weren't going to perform the services that I paid for for that man. So she comes to the passenger side of my vehicle and tries to speak to me in broken English. You know how they do. They try to play like they can't speak English. She proceeds to hand me the money, and I say to her, "What's the problem?" (I already knew, but I wanted to hear it from her mouth). In her fake broken English, she says something like, "No, no, sorry... Can't do.", as she hands me back my money. Moral of the story, if you have really bad looking feet and you're homeless with dirty clothes on, it's safe to say they will not service you. Now I'm not going to even lie. I would not have wanted to give that guy a pedicure either if I worked there. His feet were bad bad! His clothes were dirty, and he smelled. My point is, they should have told me that when I first walked in there with him, that they didn't want to give him a pedicure. This bad review and one star is for wasting...
Read moreWish there was an option for 0 stars. This establishment needs a serious overhaul. The name should be changed and the owner needs to learn how to effectively communicate and deescalate volatile situations. I visited this shop and requested Ms Linda to install eye lash extension. I advised her that I had eyelashes installed previously by one of her other staffers and the outcome was horrific( allergic reaction to the glue causing pink, swollen and extremely irritated eyes). She merely said no one has ever had issues before and I needed to relax. She blurted 2 price options of $30 and $35 and opted me into the higher option. While the eyelashes were being installed, I cried out, but she told me to stop being a baby. I left the store, with eyes obviously irritated. I called and discussed with Ms Linda that my eyes were severely swollen and caked over with mucus. We agreed on having them removed the following morning and potentially having the lashes replaced with “hair glue”? I was the 1st person (approx 10a) at the shop next morning. Ms Linda wasn’t there, but her husband was. He was in the process of sanitizing the shop. I reiterated the incident to him, to which he responded that she’s not going to be at the store because she’s attending to her kids remote learning. I was asked to return at 10:30a so someone else can remove the extensions. I did and also painfully endured removal of the skin surrounding my eyes as well. I was advised to wait about a week before reattempting. My eyes remained swollen for the remainder of that week and finally showed signs of healing during the following week. I reached out to Ms Linda again to find resolution towards the issue. She chose to be overly defensive, shouted, cursed at me, before disconnecting the call. I decided to visit her shop in person, because she said she couldn’t recall who I was and never had the conversation. She addressed me upon walking in and I advised her that we just spoke via the phone, when she abruptly ended the call. This ensued another episode of Ms Linda’s swearing, insults and asking me to leaving her F.....g store before she throws me out or calls the police. I reminded her that this is a lawful country and goods and services should be honored. I spent approx $150 including tips that day...receiving different services for myself and my daughter. I will NEVER return. I wonder how many dissatisfied customers that was audacious to complain and was met with similar fate? I will look to other avenues for resolution. This is so disgraceful and...
Read moreI really wish I could’ve given more stars because the only reason I decided to go here was based off of the reviews…
I made my nail appointment with Linda for obvious reasons but when I got there I was waiting for a half hour. I didn’t get too upset because I know how busy things can be and I get her the benefit of the doubt. When she arrived she didn’t even apologize for her tardiness and walk right past me, when I finally received some attention she looked at my photo and sent me to another artist named Stephanie I believe, and she kept saying how good she was and that I was in good hands. I didn’t question it because she’s the owner I would assume she knows her employees skill sets well. Fast forward, Although She was nice, she hacked away at my Cuticles and made 3 of them bleed I kept saying ow, that hurts, and pulling away but she kept pulling back and continuing to be rough with my hands. She was bending my fingers in ways I’ve never experienced, she was pressing so hard with the drill that my nails were on fire & I can feel my nails actively thinning out as she was drilling. Then she kept going back with the cuticle cutters when I had nothing left for her to cut! Then she starts doing my design and long story short it looks nothing like the picture I showed her :/ Then she rushed my pedicure… Then lastly Linda gave an attitude when I asked for an updated price cause my nails are so ugly that I didn’t stick to the original plan…. Never coming back, super disappointed, and I cried when I left cause my fingers...
