This place William S .Richardson & Son Pawnshop in downtown Newark has a lot of new people there that treat people with no respect I went there to get rid a TV that I was not need it, and the short young girl treat me with no respect and talking to me like if I was a junky she was taking everything like a joke when I was talking unless she was high but that’s not concern my concern is how she was treat me and how she was talking to me and not being serious among herself she needs more training and she needs to grow up and act like an adult. She acts and talk like a little girl like is she’s still in, elementary school or in high school. She talks to you being goofy not being serious about things about business that’s lack of respect towards customers or people that come there that the guy with the glasses was making faces in the background putting expressions on his face Like the stuff that I got is junk I saw it because he was looking at her and giving her the face that to let me go at least don’t let the Costumer see it but they don’t have enough training as I see I advise anybody that is planning to go there not to go there They try to get over you and say that it’s worth nothing when it’s worth something so they could get you for your money that’s the game they play and if you’re in need, they will take advantage of that and try to give you the less they can’t so they can make money out of it double it’s whatever they give you that’s how they coming give yourself some respect and not let them treat you like you’re no less than them cause that’s how they’re gonna treat you like you’re less than them and they make you feel it. They don’t know how to play it off. They just show it to you. they so amateur more training you can tell they all new before this place was not like this. That’s why it stays empty. It makes sense and they got TVs. there are like 60 bucks that mean they’re doing bad before this place is not like this and stays empty 24 seven because the lack of people training as a sales rep their no good So I advised anybody not to come to this place especially stay away from the young girl. She’s very immature and am very disrespectful. She told me to leave out the store because I told her that you treated me with no respect and she said you could leave just like that Their...
Read moreIn the beginning they were professional but when I went to get my 3 items out the only thing I could get out was a ring my other 2 items were a pair of earrings and a heart pendant😤they now claim they can't find them and tried to get me to get an audit I guess something of greater value but the kicker is ..they have nothing of value, tried to insinuate they had nothing to do with it that it was prior people before them LIES and they actually was laughing in my face like I was lieing but I have receipts and text messages that I was paying interest on items they allegedly can't find..they claim they sent a message to someone to investigate and said they was going to try to find my items whatever I'm definitely going to investigate what happened to my items and all the money I've been paying they will refund me I hope they shut this raggedy place down because no matter what if someone is trusting you with their sentimental items how dare you question their feelings based off your unprofessionalism..God don't like ugly and I hope they shut this...
Read moreI suggest this place re-evaluate the staff's knowledge about the services they provide BEFORE answering the phones. I called Rich and Son PRIOR to showing up asking if they replaced batteries for watches. I heard the woman put me on hold to ask someone,in which they replied yes. Therefore, the woman got back on the line to tell me yes. I walk in with TWO watches ready to get them serviced for the man to tell me "We don't have the tools to do that." Ok, so you mean to tell me I drove 30+ minutes to find out I was lied to? NOT TO MENTION, it was after 3pm which is the beginning of downtown Newark traffic. No worries, I took my business a few doors down to people who are knowledgeable and...
