Ever seen an authentic Spanish joint with fried chicken on the menu? Neither have I! But that was the only decent food here and that’s not saying much. A friend and I stopped in for dinner, it wasn’t busy at all on the weeknight we went. Sat near the bar and started with their shrimp in garlic sauce, which was bland, definitely nothing like the real Gambas al Ajillo you’d get from an authentic Spanish restaurant. This version had frozen shrimp which weren’t very good and the sauce was bland, no spice and hardly any garlic. Based on this and the pics I saw online, I opted for fried chicken for my entrée. Their fried chicken was hardly battered, mostly just fried chicken skin with a very lite, unflavorful dredge, if any dredge at all. Their “saffron” rice had color, but no flavor. Their black beans were also rather flavorless. Thankfully they had decent hot sauce, because that’s what I used to give my dinner flavor. Service was adequate. Definitely would never return here. I’m sure this place is run by Spanish folks, they just de-flavored their food and use not-so-fresh ingredients that it just really negatively affected the flavors and overall experience.

Had dinner here last night with my brother, food and service was good no complaints there. Last time we both had dinner here was probably in June we both got the fajitas and although very good, it was just too much food so we thought we would split something this time. Upon informing the server that we would be splitting an entree he told us there was a 10 dollar split fee. As a fine dining server typically fine dining restaurants charge a split fee and they split the dish for you in the back and add more sides this covers the fee. The dish was neither split for us nor any additional sides added. They only bought out an extra plate and when questioned we were told “well that’s how it is”. I’ve also been to this establishment with a friend a few times and we typically sit at the bar and split entrees but as I mentioned previously I work in the restaurant industry and I didn’t want to cause a scene. Please beware

This is related to a small family gathering on a Sunday. The elevator made it easy to transport items to upper level. Staff greeted us at the door to assist with cake and signage. The staff was pleasant from beginning to the end. There was another gathering in the same room after ours and my biggest concern was turn around time if I were the later party I would not want to walk into a mess. The staff was diligent in the clean up and linen changes without rushing us to clear the room. There was a need for another table and the staff accommodated the extra senior guests quickly and without disrupting the flow of the event. The only uncomfortable thing in the upper room ( back) is the fact this is where the bathrooms are located so everyone walks through that room. There were no problems but that needs to be considered if you are considering a private event in this particular room.

My girlfriend and I came here to dine for our anniversary. I made sure to make reservations in advance. This was our first time trying Chateau of Spain and it did not disappoint at all. My gf and I arrived there shortly after 11:30a. The staff was polite and courtesy upon our arrival. Once we were seated our server made sure we had water, fresh bread and butter at our table. I had the sirloin steak sandwich (well done) along with onion rings. My gf order a combination platter which consisted of onion rings, chicken tenders, fried calamari, mozzarella sticks, and hot wings. Our food was well prepared and came out hot. They have a pretty good variety of food and beverages to pick from. The prices are somewhat expensive but Chateau of Spain does provide wonderful and great service. We'll definitely be back sometime in the future.

Was my first time eating here and was a good experience. We had a large group as we were celebrating a birthday, so we were seated on the 2nd floor. Nice ambiance, vibe and decor in the restaurant. The staff is very personable, attentive and helpful. Once we placed our orders, the food & drinks came out pretty quickly. A friend and I split an order of calamari, which was good. We all order a few pitchers of sangria for the table and those were pretty good. For my main course, I ordered the Stuffed Salmon (stuffed with crabmeat) with the Saffron Rice and Vegetables as my sides. The Stuffed Salmon was really good! I'm glad I ordered it. Also, the portion sizes we're huge! I definitely wasn't able to eat all the salmon there. Overall, good food & dining experience. Would recommend and go there again.

I'm mixed on this place. The name of this restaurant is a complete misnomer. Make sure you spend time looking at the menu, so you're not surprised by the odd mix of cuisines. This is not to say that the Chipotle wrap, the Caesar chicken wrap, or the Chicken Parmesen were not good meals, but what's with the name of the restaurant. The fact that "chateau" is a French word, not Spanish, probably should have been the sign of what was to come. Nonetheless, the food was good. The servers were attentive and very welcoming. The R&B music playing from the jukebox was fitting for the potpourri-style theme of this restaurant. I have no problem recommending this place for a good, casual place to enjoy good food. Just do not expect a fancy Spanish restaurant as the name might imply.
