Zumiez — Local services in Newark

This Zumiez is located in the new park mall. We went right when it opened back up in 2021! Honestly this is the best store you can go to for your teenagers or preteen. Especially for skateboarder Enthusiast and artistic designer branded gear. They have shoes clothes skateboards rollerskates and even stuff for the snow. Whatever they do not have in the store they can always order for you. Make sure to join zumi stash in your App Store amd sign up so you can get points. This store is kind of pricey but they do offer great sales. Since it’s very trendy I’m assuming that’s why it’s expensive what what teenager doesn’t cost a lot. Lol. I got awesome help at this location staff was very friendly. I’m writing this review because when I called there was no answer and I was worried that it was closed but I’m letting you know that it is OPEN IN 2021! When I asked the staff what happened; why didn’t they answer phone? The staff member informed me they were very busy and because of everything they are short staffed so they could not answer the phone! which is fine with me because I prefer to have great customer service when I am in the store and all their attention. Love this store more and more every time I go with my two boys just the staff and environment is the best today all the associates helped my son put his skateboard together and were so friendly and kind best experience ever!!!! Also last time the manager Cesar was the ultimate best and extremely helpful and patient their is nothing better then seeing your kids get treated so amazingly by complete stranger at a store and connect with them. REALLY BAD SHOPPING EXPERIENCE, bad service, I was getting a bag, but when they get it for me it’s very muddy, they said they will order online for me, and tell me there is non brand new in store, then when I finished order, I found one brand new on the corner, they can’t help me cancel the order, and instead they told me I have to wait the bag came then return it????
