Lola Co. Has a unique gem inside their jewelry shoppe & her name is Brenda! Today, the shoppes window decore for Spring had a woman open the door, peak her head inside and mention how much she's enjoyed seeing the window decorations, especially today and I smiled... Brenda thanked this woman and shared that she was the decorator..the woman said, she liked the simplicity and elegance...it brought joy to her day and went on her way. I was touched by her humbleness & shared how incredibly kind that was... I too like the warm setting & Brenda welcoming one into this shoppe I thought was hers... & was surprised she is an employee. My 1st encounter was February with my Identical Twin. We were celebrating our Birthday, my sister brought me there for my present...we left making a friend in Brenda! I've been back twice since to purchase specific pendants for occasions for a dear friend and today, a family member... Brenda helped me select the perfect size & style chain & pendant when I described my beloved cousin. I'm so thankful for her help & expertiese... and look forward to returning soon as Brenda shared there are new pieces coming and that she has soirees & events too! As a Business owner, to experience what i had today special and each time before, have an employee who demonstrates, genuine kindness, has such passion, a nack for helping decide a purchase, (patience) being so welcoming and kind... even to the woman popping her head in to say hi! Made my day! Thank you Brenda, look forward to returning...
Read moreWe recently made the trip—about an hour—to visit this store in Newburyport, MA., knowing exactly what we were coming to purchase. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered the store had closed early. Needless to say, we were disappointed after the long drive.
However, what happened next truly stood out. Two employees who identified themselves as part of the corporate team (they may have referred to themselves with a different title, though I can’t recall it exactly) noticed us and saw our disappointment. Instead of simply walking away, they came to the door, listened to us explain our situation, and—so kindly—welcomed us in while they were very busy doing inventory work.
They let us select our gift, packaged it beautifully, and treated us with genuine warmth and care. It meant a great deal to us, especially after the trip, and their kindness completely turned the experience around.
We’re incredibly grateful to them and want to acknowledge not only their individual thoughtfulness but the kind of store culture that supports that level of service....

First of all, an incredibly unfriendly woman was there, taller with brown hair and didn't want crack a single smile or greet me at all. When I asked for a ring in solid gold she looked at me as though I had 10 heads and sent me to another jeweler & I asked if it was the same ring? And she gave me a dirty look and said she doesn't know what they have. If I owned that store I would never have a woman like this representing me. I feel bad posting this for that reason alone, as a business owner. But if she is actually the owner she needs a case on etiquette and customer service. It was absolutely horrendous. She not only lost a sale with me, but I will make sure to tell my who also spend plenty of money in Newburyport to not set foot in that door until they get someone new representing them. Highly disappointed, if I were Lola I would not want this woman representing any of my...
