Talbots — Local services in Niles Township

I have had mixed experiences with this store but I recently had an awesome experience. I selected a dress to try on and the sales associate told me that she loves the dress but not many women were giving it a chance. I was ambivalent. I liked the style but was uncertain about the color. As I was trying it on, the associate checked in with me and asked me how it was working. I happened to have it on and she politely asked me if I would like her opinion. Sure. Why not? I came out of the dressing room, she looked at me, and she told me that she thought the color washed me out. She was absolutely right. I wanted to like the dress but in my heart, I knew that it didn't work. I thanked her for her honesty and she joked that she could get fired for telling me that the dress didn't work for me. Au contraire, Talbots. I will come back to this store and seek out this sales woman. My loyalty to the Talbots brand INCREASED as a result of this...

The staff were not nice and they seem to enjoy telling me that I can't return what I previously purchased because of the final sale, and they said go and donate them because there are so many people in need. They didn't even listen to what I was trying to say, just kept nodding their heads. I mean they can listen to me to see what I'm trying to return and then speak nicely rather than being proud of not listening!!!
