Molly’s Cupcakes — Restaurant in Niles Township

**adding to me review from 2 weeks ago. Ever since I stopped there for the first time, I have been back multiple times. I’m addicted. Sabrina helped me the last 2 times and she was just as great as Francesca. I think this location has a great staff. Everyone is warm, friendly and very a knowledgeable. I enjoy going back there to try the other flavors and to talk to the employees!

These desserts are delicious! Stop at the Molly’s in Skokie, you will not be disappointed. Francesca who works there is so knowledgeable and was very helpful. She did a great job explaining all the different desserts and let me know which ones were too sellers. I didn’t plan on going there, I just happened to walk by and went in to take a look and I couldn’t say no once Francesca started talking about all the desserts. I ended up getting a s’mores bar, lemon poppyseed cookie and butterscotch cupcake. I had a gray variety and will be going back to try other desserts. They have a great employee...

This little hidden gem was such a pleasure to visit. Since my wife and I were out of town, we wanted to try something new since we were craving something sweet. We walked in and were surprised at the many options Molly's offered. Once I saw the display case, I knew we were in trouble.

The ladies behind the counter both days were very nice, patient, and friendly. We ordered a 4-pack of cupcakes both days, and my favorite was the peach cobbler cupcake. My wife said it was a tie between the dulce de leche churro and the white chocolate raspberry.

I am so glad we were just visiting from out of town because those cupcakes are so delicious, you'll want to return the next day like we did. One of the things we loved most was how delicious the buttercream frosting was—it really melts in your mouth. I can't believe I'm giving Molly's, (literally, the BEST cupcakes I've had) a review less than 5 stars but, here's why... our family house is around the corner in Lincoln Park from your original location. I tried Molly's when you opened in 2007 and they're the only cupcakes I eat now. Plus, I tell everyone about your cupcakes and even order birthday cakes from you. Your buttercream frosting is one of the best I've ever had. However, they DO NOT have buttercream frosting at this location. That's a bummer. What's even more of a bummer is that true Molly's fans like me, know that your "Strawberry Shortcake" cupcake, comes with the buttercream. The moment I bit into mine, I knew it was NOT buttercream.
