---- Caution Regarding Repairs at Tiffany & Co. --- I recently entrusted Tiffany & Co. with the repair of a cherished necklace that I have owned for over 25 years. Given its sentimental value and previous satisfactory experiences with their repair service, I expected a straightforward process. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. Upon attempting to retrieve my necklace, I was presented with a different piece—one similar, but not the original. When I pointed this out, I was assured that it was a mistake and that my necklace would be returned shortly. Fifteen days later, I received an email notifying me that my necklace was ready for pickup. However, upon arrival, I was informed that they could not locate it and that additional time was needed. When I inquired whether it had been lost, I was told that it had not. Another fifteen days passed before I received another notification stating it was available. Yet again, upon arrival, I was given a different necklace—this time slightly similar but shorter and lighter than my original piece. Only after comparing it to their own documentation did they acknowledge the discrepancy. After further discussion, I was informed that they believed my necklace had been lost. As a resolution, they offered to replace it with another piece, but I declined. The sentimental value of this necklace is irreplaceable, and a substitute would not suffice. To illustrate the gravity of the situation, imagine leaving a loved one in daycare and being handed another child upon pickup with the reassurance that "it is the same." That is how I felt when my original necklace was not returned. While some might accept a replacement, my history with this piece makes it invaluable. Regrettably, despite my persistence, Tiffany & Co. has yet to provide further updates, and I fear the matter has been quietly closed. For those considering their repair services, I strongly encourage caution. While Tiffany & Co. is renowned for its craftsmanship and reputation, my experience suggests shortcomings in accountability and service reliability when handling sentimental items.

Read moreDO NOT BRING UNIQUE items to this store. tiffany charge like a Cartier, but when it gets to the service it’s a bazaar where you have to hustle. Otherwise, they TRICK YOU. I purchased several items in the store. This time I had ordered a new strap for my wife’s watch. And the Tiffany made it too short and not proportional! Also managers of the store told my wife that her mechanical watch doesn’t work. It has to be fixed. The price of that is $1200. Since her watch was working well before it was given to Tiffany, she refused to pay. After trying to brainwash her, they agreed to fix it for no charge. Spending more then an hour with them in the store, my wife realized that her watch is working properly and shows accurate time. I’m not sure what exactly they targeted to get, the money or the watch, I guess both. After this situation, this people lost our trust and we didn’t leave the watch in the store because things get lost. Finally, when the wright size strap arrived, they switched it from gold to plated gold buckle. When that happened, I had to deal with the store manager because the person who put an order together was busy, had a family emergency or simply stayed aside. I understand that, otherwise now she has to lie to me. All this bs took us 6 months and I had to return that strap. The bottom line:
