I was shopping for a coffee table for a new condo and one caught my eye. I had difficulty getting a sales person to assist as they were working something out related to another issue and seemed annoyed by my request for assistance. There was no price tag on the table, then one of the sales persons was able to look it up for me online but I was told there were none available left in any of the stores. So I inquired about availability of the piece on the floor. She said she would have to take my name and give it to her manager who wasnât in but who would call me. Had to call 7 times to get the order status 3 weeks after I placed order, still didn't get the clear answer, West Elm, scheduling, and so called "hub" keep tossing the calls to each other, one tells me they're ready for delivery the other tells me item is missing they don't even know which, no follow up calls ever, keep telling me I'll get a call which I never did, and now they're telling me all items are ready it was just a note to confirm the no. of items with customer.
