I do not like to go out and shop in large stores in where you can't find anything easily. The internet is a good place for people like me who don't like to waste time up and down every aisle
I pretty much knew this was going to be one of those days I was going to hate going in and getting all turned around and everything up from wall to wall looking for things I just need to pick up quickly.
From the minute I walked in I kind of got the feeling they were more organized and thoughtful about product placement.
They haven't changed much since I've been there last, but I did see a lot of things did get moved around. the store was well-lit and seem to be focused more on things women would buy in the front of the store, which is probably some MBA in New York saying how the floor has to look to maximize sales. I get that. But it also convolutes and takes away from the casual buyer who does not come in every single week. I almost feel like it's a woman's place to shop when see the front is female targeted. I've also noticed I tend to not return because it seems like I'm either not welcome or not included in their plan, and you can feel it when you walk in. Maybe the suits will learn we are all equals at the end of the day.
if I was to return to be a shopper for this brand it will probably only be internet from now. it's just too much, too spread out, and just...
Read moreI have been a Kohl's charge customer for several years and typically buy most of my children's clothes here. No more. I ordered two items for in store pick up using Kohl's cash, but I never received an email that they were ready. Two weeks later, I received an email saying the items were sold out, but my Kohl's cash was not reinstated. After spending almost two hours on the phone, I learned that there had been an email glitch on the day of my order, and my items were at the store the entire time. Now, I did not have the items I wanted as Christmas gifts, and the store said they could only give me Kohls' cash that was good for after Christmas. This was not acceptable - I did not need the cash after Christmas - but their only suggestion was that I go ahead and purchase the items, return them after Christmas, and re-buy them with the cash. I called Customer Service again, and the best they could do was submit a claim to get my Kohl's cash back in 3-7 days. So I am still without my items, which won't arrive for Christmas, and without my cash. I find this absurd, considering the fault was with Kohl's, and yet, I seem to be the only one. Typically, their Customer Service is extremely helpful, but this situation...
Read moreI’ve shopped at this Kohl’s for years and have always had positive experiences. However, last week I had a horrible experience that still hasn’t been made right. While checking out my transaction went through on my end, but mysteriously not on Kohl’s end, meaning my card was charged, but their system didn’t show the purchase had gone through. Thankfully, I was using my bank card which showed the purchase had been completed immediately. Additionally, the cashier agreed that the customer screen has noted the transaction was successful. Despite showing this proof to the manager, Jerald, he refused to both issue me a refund AND refused to let me leave with the items I purchased. Jerald also reprimanded the cashier in front of me, and other customers, blaming her for the error. I was happy to see her stand up for herself! I’ve since disputed this charge with my bank, but have been told by Jerald, and corporate, it’s not really their problem and that “this has happened before”. I’m genuinely upset about the way the situation was handled. I still have a charge that was processed for goods I didn’t receive. Very disappointed in Kohl’s and their management at...
