I would be cautious coming here for anyone who is coming here to rent suits and need to figure out any kind of complex color coordination. For context, I am planning a wedding and the ONLY thing I wanted to accomplish when I made an initial appointment online here was to see a sample of a suit jacket to compare colors with some swatches I brought with me that we are considering (I will be having groomswomen in addition to groomsmen in my party). Upon walking in on Saturday morning, there was only one employee available who is dividing her attention across at least 5 other customers in the store at the same time as me. I know that maintaining regular staffing can be difficult in the current economy, but given that it took her about 30 minutes before she was able to spend any substantial time with me (after helping other customers), I donât like that the menâs warehouse website gives you the illusion that youâll have an actual focused âappointmentâ when they donât actually have the staff available to do anything that feels like an actual appointment.
In addition to the above, I wasnât able to accomplish the ONE thing I wanted to achieve because this store had NONE of the suits from the rental collection I was interested in on hand (not even in other different colors). I was baffled by this, because although I could get a decent idea of suit color and design online, the whole reason I came in was to see at least the jacket style in person and compare it to the swatches that I would need to work with for the purposes of my wedding.
To briefly wrap up - none of this was the fault of the employee who was working the day I came in. She was stuck working within the confines of what Menâs Warehouse required of her - in this case, serving a number of patrons without any visible support from management or otherwise. Moreover, she did do her best to answer my questions, although as mentioned above I wasnât pleased to find that I could only see the colors of the suit Iâd be looking at in a binder catalog rather than in person before I committed any more time or money to this process. For those who will be as picky and selective as me in their suit selection, there is a direct competitor to this store that is literally 2 minutes walking distance to the right of this store within the same shopping complex that helped me immediately upon me walking in right after I left this store (out of courtesy I will avoid mentioning them directly by name here). Moreover, this competitor actually had suit samples that I could directly compare my swatches to in store so I could start planning my next steps, something which I thought Menâs Warehouse would be able to help me accomplish, but evidently...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. My fiancĂ© and I walked in to look at suit and tuxedo options for our wedding in October and were hardly greeted by the three employees working (evening of 1/27). We have been to this location before and had the help of someone else, who was actually pretty helpful, however, our colors changed for the wedding. We came in and they asked what they could âhelpâ us with (quotations because there was zero help involved). As someone who works in the wedding industry and actually does suit and tuxedo rentals in their every day job, I am pretty sufficient, but the âserviceâ we received left me in shock. We were told to look around and let them know if we found something that we had questions about, no problem. When we approached all three employees to ask questions, one was sitting on the floor. Again, I work in the wedding industry, so I get that there is down time, but the fact that we approached with a question and they still didnât bother to help us is unacceptable. We asked if there were other tuxedo options and we were told to âjust take a look onlineâ. Then the lady sitting at the computer said âI can set you up an appointment in February, you have plenty of timeâ. This is where I became upset. Planning a wedding is extremely time consuming, so we were trying to get this done before things got too crazy. We walked in last time we were in and had zero issues, but this time we were made to feel like an inconvenience. When my fiancĂ© explained that we were looking at custom options for him, we were told that the swatches were on the other side of the store and that we could go look at them, again with no assistance of the employees. We were once again told to check online. They remained seated during our entire stay. Before we headed over to where the swatches were, we were asked if we had shopped other places, which made our decision of getting our suits/tuxes somewhere else. We were drawn to using Menâs Wearhouse because our groomsmen and ring bearers all live in different states from us, but we will definitely be using someone else after...
Read moreMy fiancé went to this location to pick out the tuxes for himself and his groomsmen. The rep that helped us put in "filler" measurements for him and told him to come back to be measured for real. When he returned, the same rep said that my fiancé already had measurements listed on his account and refused to measure him "again". We were pretty uncomfortable with this, so we went to the Castleton location. The rep there went through the measurements for my fiancé and we learned that the ones listed were 10 inches too wide and 7 inches too long. He also noticed that the rep from Noblesville put in the same tux for all the groomsmen as the groom, which we had been very clear at the time should be a different one. After that was fixed, it was also discovered that the men that had been fitted already had all been given different discounts and none had been fitted for a vest, so some owed balances and others had overpaid. The whole order was a total mess. Luckily, our Castleton rep (Scott) was amazing and worked for over an hour getting everything straightened out. I'd recommend everybody to go straight to Castleton rather than waste time and energy going to Noblesville. They don't care, and if we'd trusted them, my fiancé would've ended up walking down the aisle in a tent, the groomsmen would've wasted money, and everybody would've been in the...
