GameStop — Local services in North Myrtle Beach

This store had to have the worst customer service I've experienced at a GameStop. I went with my teenage son while we were on vacation to see if they had any XBOX One controllers, as we had left ours behind by accident. We walked in and we were the only ones in the store. The associate never acknowledged us. We walked up to the counter and he was squeezing what appeared to be a stress ball and still didn't acknowledge us. Once I got his attention I asked him if they had any of these controllers and his response was a very frank "Nope, guess I need to order some." I completely understand being out of stock of something especially during this time, but the employee clearly didn't care at all about the customer or providing any sort of...

Went into this store to buy a new controller for my ps4 and they didn't have one in stock. They have the boxes on the wall but they are all empty. If you dont have one, why have empty boxes looking like you do. Thats very misleading. You have to order online. You would think they would have SOME in stock for their customers that come into the store. The lady behind the counter was super nice and looked up some online for me so now I have to wait a week to get one. (Other stores were sold out too). Plus, when I ordered online I wanted the white one (had 2 in stock) and put it in my cart and was proceeding to check out and then all of a sudden it said it just sold out...seriously?? It was in my cart!!! So, I had to go with another color. So...

Preordered Star Wars Outlaws Gold edition about a month in advanced. Was really looking forward to it, but when i arrived at noon on launch day they did not have any copies available. Apparently they never arrived. The manager was extremely helpful and empathetic. He reached out to his district manager who was unresponsive however. Fortunately the manager was able to provide me with the equivalent of my purchase in online credit. So i went home and downloaded it. Now that ive beaten the game i would normally trade it in towards my next preorder. However because of this experience i will not be buying games from gamestop anymore. Just go next...
