UPDATE: I returned to the new location after things were back to normal, saw my original salesperson, and asked for the manager in the comment that was below from the store (gone now?). He authorized a discount and I found the artwork of my dreams for our huge empty wall,plus a few other things. I also saw the exact piece I had bought at Wholesale Furniture Gallery for less! (Seriously, never shop there!) Nothing is cheap here, but if you are looking for just the right coastal themed piece, this may be where you find it.
This store presents well and has decent selection on the floor. I have had two previous positive experiences while shopping there. I called and asked for one of the people who had previously helped me, I have had issues finding an dining room set I love that had a reasonable availability and time frame. The person I had previously spoken to will not be in for 3 days. I explained what I was hoping to accomplish, and the salesperson who answered, Dylan, informed me I would have to call back when the associate I had originally spoken to would be there. I am trying to buy a dining room set almost immediately, and will be calling other retailers, and may not need one in 3 days. I was totally turned off by the unwillingness to help, I guess they donât need my $2500-3000 business now, plus any future business as I furnish my brand new construction, largely empty house? Very disappointing due the the two previous positive interactions. I called early, in hopes of things not being too busy yet. I also wouldâve had no issue being called back by someone.    Read moreTwo very disappointing experiences this week. First time, I came into the store thinking it would be an off time. A male salesman came up to me and told me of the âsalesâ available. After looking around for a few minutes I became interested in a bedroom set that had a sold sign on it. He said he would check to see if the pieces I wanted were available after he looked up something for another customer. Well I guess they were spending more money than me because he never got back to me. I went up to the front of the store and saw him chatting and laughing with another salesman! I walked right out the door. He never even acknowledged me. Today, a week later, I returned with my husband to see if by chance the set was still on the floor and was happy to see it was. (Why didnât it go out for delivery?) this time a female salesperson offered to help. She went right to the catalog and showed me what the whole set looked like and looked up the prices and availability! Apparently they can only discount pieces they have in stock! Good news the mirror (cheapest piece) was on sale but the two bureaus were not. Not only were they not on sale but the price she quoted me was MORE than the tags on the floor said! I questioned her and she said the price went up. I looked at my husband as he pointed to the door!    Read moreWe purchased a sleeper sofa and love seat in March from Seaside. The purchase and delivery went well and we had no issues. Fast forward a few months and we now have issues with the quality of the furniture. After only 4 months, the fabric has ripped in one area, the cushions sag as though itâs years old and the tacking of the back to the frame is pulling apart. I contacted Seaside via email July 19 asking about warranty info and offering for one of their representatives to come look at the issues in person. I received no response. On July 27, my husband contacted them again through their website asking why we were not getting a response. Someone called that evening and left a message to call. Before we could call back, my husband received an email saying they had tried âseveral timesâ to call us. (They tried once and left one message). On July 31, I spoke with Scott and he told me our issue had been sent to their service department and that I would be contacted on Monday Aug 3. It is now Aug 15 and I have yet to hear from anyone else. I had read a few reviews that service after the sale wasnât stellar but I chose to believe those were isolated incidents. Apparently not.
