Went on the 12 hour fishing charter with Captain Larry on April 5, 2025. A 7 am to 7pm charter. I have been on a lot of these type charters and in my life time, it was the worst experience I have ever had. To start off, the Captain is casting the lines when a couple pulled up saying stop the boat. The Captain stopped, went and checked these people in and got this couple in the boat. Then the guy remembered he left his car lights on and the Captain allowed him to get back off the boat and go turn his car lights off. We were 15-20 minutes late getting out of the dock. It took 4 hours to get to the first fishing spot with the Captain running about half speed so we didn't start fishing until after 11am. The fishing was terrible. No one caught any fish to speak of the entire day. There were 70 people on the boat. At the end of the day the fishing box looked like it had 40-50 small fish in it and 5 good size for the entire trip. Less than one per person. We would go from spot to spot with zero luck. We would get on a spot, catch a few non keepers, but we couldn't stay on the spot having to reposition and reset the anchor 2-3 times every time we stopped. This took about 10 minutes every time the Captain repositioned. What really made me angry was Captain Larry screaming at the deck hands every time we stopped. The deck hands were great but Captain Larry screaming to help this person tangled up or help this other person was berating and it was constant all day long. I wonder how in the world he is able to keep deck hands. I wouldn't work under those conditions. Not only did Captain Larry berate decks hands but he was yelling at the people who paid good money to go fishing calling them amateurs and saying things like "did you get that $9.99 Walmart special rod and they threw in the green fishing line for free." Every time someone managed to catch a fish Captain Larry started yelling "get it in the boat, get it in the boat" while we were still reeling it in. Top this off with a group of 5 people on the back of the boat smoking weed with no deck hands or the Captain saying a word. Going back we run about half speed again. We didn't get in until 8:30 pm. An hour and half late. So never again with this charter. It was the 13 plus hour boat...

If you're considering this boat for a deep sea fishing trip, do yourself a favor and strongly consider another outfit.

This was hands down the worst fishing experience of my life and, frankly, absolutely disgusting on multiple levels.

The first thing that stood out on the trip was how egregiously oversold the boat was. There weren't nearly enough seats for the number of people crammed onto the boat, which made for a highly uncomfortable four hour ride out to sea.

I understand the need for a business to make money, but this boat took the thought entirely too far, to the point where only two out of our party of six could fish at a time, simply because there was no room to move. Even when I did get to fish, I ended up tangled with someone else's line three out of every four casts.

I asked one of the crew members why they crowd the boats so much, and he said, "Don't worry, people will start getting sick soon, so a spot for you to fish should open up." The fact they knowingly do business this way is just sickening.

Speaking of sickening, I had six people vomit within arms length of me, while on the trip. There was vomit in the galley, on the floors, in the bathroom, etc. Another crew member came in the galley and joked, "Man, why does it smell like puke in here?"

On top of the overcrowding and numerous sick people, we had the pleasure of dealing with a fight between two other people and a highly drunken passenger falling in our laps and hitting us with an open beer. You would think the drunken passenger was beyond the boat's control, but they knowingly kept serving him beer well after he was obviously highly intoxicated.

For six people the trip was not cheap, and the outfit kept nickeling and diming us after we were on board. "Do you want the minnows that are better than the squid for fishing? Well, that will be $20. Do you want the shrimp that is best for the fish you really want to catch? That will be even more money." It just didn't stop.

I would not wish this trip on my worst enemy. Please consider taking your money somewhere else, so that you can...

My review is about half day fishing and night shark fishing! Pros: Brian, Justin, Allen and Captain Larry, were awesome people, kid friendly, answered any questions, encouraging and really made every effort to find the fish and the Sharks! They went to 4 or 5 different spots in an effort to make sure everyone could have a fun night. It was the same for day fishing as well. The crew seems to love what they do. My husband is 1 of 2 people who actually hooked a shark on this night shark fishing trip!! My husband also did the day fishing the day before and had a blast! Definitely a good option for a fishing trip! Cons: My error! lol. I didn’t bother to have our son take Dramamine for motion sickness (NSF trip) as he’s done fine on other types of boats 🤦🏻‍♀️ BIG MISTAKE. Give your kid the meds so they’re not miserable and puking the whole time- the inside of the boat was filled with most of the kids puking into trash cans 😅 Some things to consider: A Small stroller is fine. But you won’t be able to push it around the deck on board. You can keep it in the indoor space though. If you’re sensitive to the heat/humidity- there’s no AC in the cabin/snack bar portion of the boat but there was a fan. The breeze out there was pretty wonderful though. OH and When they load you onto the boat, people are idiots and will sit spread eagle in their families/cliques and fill the outside of the boat- DONT WORRY- you’ll get a spot out there to fish, just go inside and chill out until they let you know when you get to the spot to fish lol I recommend not hammering down your drinks and food first thing while headed out for night fishing on the boat because I saw a lot of those people vomitting HARD 😅 after choppy waters. My husband wanted me to add this to tell Brian, “I CAN ONLY REEL SO FAST!!” 😂😂😂 Also anyone complaining about “non-productive time” while fishing???? It’s fishing, not an assembly line 🤦🏻‍♀️ My husband will definitely be back! But not sure if the kiddo can be...

Dolphin Cruise - we left on time and I felt this voyage was well planned. Not narrated alot but that was fine, what was share was good information and left time for conversation on the way out of the intercoastal. Food and beverages became available once we were moving. Washroom facility was on board and clean. We went out just over half capacity and with the heat it was perfect. Captain Mike didn't find one pod of dolphins but many. I've been on similar excursions and this one was the best. Captain Mile was clear and accurate in his locating dolphins and return to dock safely. I would highly recommend his tour.
