Very disappointed! I came to the store last 10/11 to upgrade my phone. I specifically went there to understand the trade in promo on the iPhones to make sure what Iām committing to before I change my current billing plan. At that time I was on a 30GB share plan and getting 25% corporate discount; I was told that in order to qualify for the trade in I have to be on the Unlimited Starter plan and still keep my corporate discount on top of it. So I had the person helping me calculate the difference of what my monthly bill will look like and was told that with my corporate discount that Iām getting it will be cheaper to go to the new unlimited plan. Well of course I signed up for it since it will save me on my moms payments and better I donāt have to pay for the new phone upfront. Then my first bill came and my corporate discount was not there. I decided to go to the store 10/31 and spoke to a different person in the store. I was then told that with my new plan corporate discount cannot apply. Again what?!!!! So basically I lost 25% discount I used to get which was NOT I was told to begin with. I had to call 611 to explain what happened to see what they can do to fix the situation, the problem is I already traded in my old phone which we processed in the store when I got my new phone activated. AT&T wants to put me back on my old plan but do not want to pay or return my old phone - I was on the phone for over an hour and no positive resolution was provided to either basically stuck with a new plan and now I have to pay more for the service and lost my corporate discount. Returned to this store because one of their employees was very helpful with getting set up with International calling (didn't work, not his fault), and told us to return when we were ready to try to deal with a few other problems. Have a 4K genie mini box which will not work with our Sony 4K TV, have contacted phone customer service MANY times, been told it was a known issue and also had a tech out who was clueless. Anyway, we use a non-4K box from one of the other rooms, just to have regular TV in our main room. Anyway, when we tried to deal with this issue, like he directed us to do, we were told by the apparent manager, that they will not deal with this issue, just have to call customer service, explained I had done that multiple times, spoke to supervisors, tech visit, everything and she noted that there was nothing she could do, or at least nothing she chose to do. Also explained that we often get NO SERVICE inside our house on AT&T wireless, we are new to their service, despite being told it would be NO PROBLEM, we are in the highest coverage area. Well, this still does not get us service inside the house, much of the time. They suggested a micro-cell, which of course would be an upcharge, to get service they promised we would have to begin with. Get the picture? I gotta say the service is amazing, especially where I work in the country because Iām a delivery driver and trust me it helps a lot!! Now the 611 customer service itās definitely a nightmare!!! Itās so bad Iāve thought about leaving AT&T, until I met Chasity at my local ATT store in North Richland Hills, TX!! Me and my Family have know her for a few years now and Iāve never in my life met someone who not only does her job with the up most respect and beyond, she actually makes you feel like your family!! Nowadays corporations donāt care about us little guys, but when it comes Chasity ⦠she has a heart of Gold!! The AT&T store should be blessed to have her and Iāve always told her if she was to leave that location lol that me and the family would follow her anywhere she goes, because we will ever find service as good as she delivers!!
