pros: Nice shop feel in nice area. Their selection is pretty good. They offer 1 free adjustment after purchase. After buying you get 15% accessories for 1 year.
Price: ok -pretty expensive, but not unfair by any means.
Cons: -Failed to provide helpful information when asked specific questions. -Failed to adjust bicycle brakes even after requesting. -Provided inconsistent information over the phone. -Flat repair and (what I thought were minor/simple) adjustments took over 1 business week to complete. Even when I still had to pay for flat repair. -Provided poor and incorrect feedback when I requested to look at adjusting front brakes after they said they finished my adjustments.
Thankfully I took my bike to a friend who is very knowledgeable bike mechanic, and he confirmed, they just failed to adjust and gave me improper information. He had similar experience there, and never returned. This will likely be my last time there as well...
The owner was very upset that I was interested in converting a bike to electric motor assist. So maybe their a fine bike shop for only traditional cycling. So my recommendation is absolutely don't go here for electric bike support. They're pretty transparent (or at least resonate the feeling) that they un-informed about e bikes in general (even though they sell a small selection of e bikes).
I got the feeling that any question I asked ( regarding accessories or functional bike upgrades) was a large inconvenience to them, and they had little to no enthusiasm or feedback in their reply (and lacking information).
Maybe this is just me as an outsider, as I'm not a traditional cyclist. But the experiences here seemed very condescending and pretentious. I've never paid someone $700 and seemed like I was such an inconvenience with my maybe 10 minutes of discussion and half a dozen questions.
Bummer, I really wanted to like this place...
I hope if you choose this place, that your experience is...

I was in a pickle this week (due to my own lack of planning) and they went above and beyond to help me out. I had a flight out West on a Tuesday. My bike case off Amazon changed its delivery timing on me the day before my flight. I called every REI within an hours radius to pack my bike and they were booked out without wiggle room. Independent shops wouldn’t service my Specialized since it wasn’t originally bought there.
I brought my bike into T&C on a Monday night, Doc(?) had it packaged up by Tuesday morning and I was able to get it shipped before my flight with BikeFlights. My bike arrived this morning (Friday) in tip top shape. It actually felt like a new bike day with all the careful packaging, even in a Stumpjumper box. Put her together, took her for a spin today, and she was singing.
Side note: My lack of planning is due to family illness and leaving my own planning til the last minute. I also am slated for hip surgery in about a month so this was my last window to sneak in a season before the health clusterf begins. I cannot even begin to express how much this meant to me to make this happen.
Super reasonable price. Phenom service. Family...
Read moreI had been looking all over for a gravel bike. I found one that I loved at Town and Country. It was a large purchase for me so I was a little hesitant. I came in to look at the bike at least 4 times and each time they were so helpful with all of my questions. They never pressured me at all! When I was deciding on a color, Mariah insisted that we take the bike out into the sun so I’d see what it looks like outside. She was so nice!! When I finally ordered my bike, it came in so quickly and they had it ready to go so fast. I brought in my own water bottle holder and they put it right on for me. Everyone who I talked to or dealt with was so nice, but Lance and Mariah were amazing!! I will definitely go back to town and country for all of my bike needs.
June 2025 Wanted to add that I just got a tune up for the is bike because the gears were messed up from miles of riding and they did an amazing job! The bike rode like it was brand new. The shifting was so smooth! I highly recommend Town and Country for all of your biking needs. Price was very...
