We've been coming here for years, tonight was our first time with any issues or mistakes. It will be the last. They mistakenly gave us the wrong pizzas, we did not realize until we got home. They did try to call on the way back the number dialing was not recognized and was not the same as the one we call into. So until we got home we didn't know that there was an error. No big deal, easy to fix. We traveled back to get the correction, as the message stated they had our pizza in the warmer.
When we arrived back they had only one pizza waiting. I informed them that both were incorrect. The young lady helping me took both pizza's back into the kitchen and gave me the one correct pizza. She returned moments later to inform me the other pizza was correct. I disagreed and showed that there were onions and mushrooms on it. She took the pizza back and returned again, with the same pizza. I was told that they were really busy and that they couldn't make a new pizza for us. They offered to pick off the incorrect items. I was very surprised. I asked if they were going to give me my money back for that pizza. I was told the manager said no. I asked to speak to the manager. She went to the kitchen and returned with apologies that the manager couldn't come to see me, as it was very busy. I would have to wait, "could be a while", as it was "very busy."
Circumstantially, the family whose pizza I was given was there and they were seemingly having a hard time making it right for them. In addition to that there was a third person whose order they seemed to have not even processed. With three customers at the counter with problems in orders, there was no manager in sight. That seems to me like the right time to be making amends for all three of us. The young employees were clearly struggling and appeared to not have been trained on how to handle the situation. If the manager was so crucial to the operation in the back, they are clearly not staffed appropriately for a Saturday night.
I understand that hiring is challenging during these times, however for one of the busiest places in town, it would seem that a better wage might attract enough people. Clearly there is a lack of leadership here. There is a lack of attention to details and to customers. At the end, even the pizza was now sub-par, where it used to be excellent. In the last 6 months we've seen the quality suffer.
I've no idea what's going on, but beware if you're looking to try. The historical reviews are likely a trend of the past. We'll not ever be back, they clearly don't want...
Read moreMost awful place. I called and ordered 3 pizzas. A mistake was made. Mistakes happen and the put the order down for next day. They refused to use pizzas already made and made us wait for them to do it from scratch. Even though we ordered two hours ago. They would not put our order ahead because of their mistake. They refused to put us ahead in deliveries to enjoy the party and said they could not deliver in under an hour because I would be in the back of the line. Mistakes happen. Horrible customer service is nit a mistake. Don’t go to this place!!!! I’m sorry I tipped them. I do nit appreciate your dishonest response. I got there at 5:30 and left at 6:05. 35 minutes not 10. Secondly, I was told that if you were to delver it would be at least an hour and I could not go I. Front of anyone. Thirdly, I asked if you could use some of the made pizzas and you said the others couldn’t wait. As I said terrible customer service. The front lady acted offended that I had the nerve to ask if it could be delivered first. I was on my way to a party for my highschool reunion which I was helping with. This is why I made sure to call in advance an hour to make sure I could pick up the pizzas. Your staff didn’t care and made sure to let me know that all these customers that ordered after me would come first because you would have no consideration that you make mistakes. Horrible customer service. Not only are you lying bit trying to accuse the customer if lying. Don’t go to this pizza joint. ...
Read moreIt pains me to say it, but the pies here are average to sub-par. My husband and I really wanted to like this place, given that it is a local shop. There are 3 big issues as I see it. The first is that the pies are pretty floppy. I'm not expecting a stiff crust, but at least some hold. A couple minutes more in the oven might do the trick. The second is that the topping distribution is not proportional. This may sound petty, but you try eating a pizza with 70 percent of the pepperonis on one side. Lastly, the square pizza leaves a lot to be desired. Imagine eating a round pizza, but loosely shaped as a square. And, I think here the issue of the floppy crust comes into play the most. Square pizzas are known for a thicker, crunchier crust. To end on a positive, the service is great. With focus on these issues, the pizza would...
