Everything started off great, the people at the store were nice and the furniture was decent quality for the price. The problems started with the delivery. My couch was delayed a total of 3 times. The first time it was delayed, I was told it was some supply chain issue. That one I understand, that's not the fault of anyone there. The second and third times, the delivery guys just came and knocked on the door and immediately left after, not giving anyone enough time to answer the door. They tried to claim that there was nobody home even though there were plenty of people home that could have accepted the delivery. Once I finally did get my couch, the delivery guys came and assembled it without issue. We also tried to order a coffee table from them, but both times they attempted to deliver it, it came damaged. Even though the "damage" was only a tiny chip on the corner of the table both times, and I told them that it was fine, they refused to deliver it. Because of this, we decided to cancel the coffee table order and just get one from Ikea instead. So we went back to the store and spoke to the agent that previously helped us. She told us that she would alter our contract to take off the table and that it might take a while to fix. So for about a month, the automatic payments stopped going through. If this is where the problems ended, I would not be as frustrated, but things got worse. Based on what we were told, we were under the assumption that this we due to the contract being altered. However, I recently stopped getting notifications from them that the automatic payments were going through. So I assumed we had paid it off until I checked my bank statement and saw that I had still been charged. I called them and was informed that we had not paid off the entire amount before the time on the original contract so we now owed them double the initial amount. So my $1,300 couch was actually $2,600 now. When I informed them of what the person at the store told me about my contract, I was given another number to call. So I called that number and explained my situation. The lady I spoke with was a lot more polite than the other guy I spoke with. She informed me that I would need to contact the store manager but she is currently on vacation. So I'm currently waiting so I can talk to her when she returns. If the situation cannot be fixed, they are punishing their customer for being lied to. Do not shop here if you do not like...
Read moreMe and a friend walked in, just to get an idea of what we would want in our apartment nothing specific in mind. Once stepped in a lady came up to us named Sabrina, she started off if we were old enough to be in there and asked if we are older than 18, we look a little young but we are both going on 20 this month. We laughed and ignored it and told her we weren't looking for anything in particular, Sabrina then continued with the question if we were sisters, we didn't mind it it was a little funny so we just laughed it off and said no, then out of no where the next question was if we were on drugs. Which caught me by surprise, as to why someone- why a "professional" would ask a costumer that, she continued with, "no way you guys are sober" and followed with " I need whatever you guys are on". Which I was not pleased or entertained with at all. We continued and said we just wanted to look around nothing in specific, the regular headboard, pillows, bed, and couch. We had looked around for a bit and then after awhile headed to the restroom we were in there for less than a minute when a lady came in and watched us, I thought we were first in the way so apologized to move away from the sink so she can wash her hands and left the restroom, she then followed us out and stared at us while we looked at more furniture. She then proceeded to ask where our parents were and what exactly we were doing in that store. She then said if you guys are not 21 you need to leave, which was confusing because Sabrina from earlier said we were okay to look around since we were 20 and of age. She then told us we need to leave and escorted us out. Very rude old lady, along with incredibly inappropriate on...
Read moreJimmy G was outstanding today during our visit at Bob’s Furniture. He was knowledgeable, friendly and helped us get the furniture we were looking for. He helped us navigate through our purchase very efficiently! Would definitely recommend him as your sales person. Keep up the good work.
Update on this review: the delivery of the furniture didn’t go as smooth as the sale. They manage the damage my hardwood floor, chipped the wall and chipped the bedroom door when they leaned the mirror during assembly. The delivery crew stated they needed to file a claim for it and to allow 48 hr before calling to check on it, which we did. Just to find out it was a straight out lie. No claim was filed and they pretended none of these issues happen. We were technically out of the window to report issues regarding the delivery. The claim was done later by me after a lot of explaining the situation and the lies I was told. The third party company that handles these claims is very poorly managed. I had to get two different quotes for the repairs of the wall and door. Didn’t even include the floor damage and they refuse to pay for the wall repair. There has been a lot of back and forth with them and every time there is an excuse/reason of why they don’t want to cover it. Excuses like they couldn’t verify the llc of the company I called to the wall not being on the claim from the beginning. It’s a lame service, the delivery guys were sloppy and careless. If you care about your walls, floors and door or any infrastructure of your home do not hire these people to deliver...
