Kendall greeted me at th3 door to acknowledge I came in. I told her I wanted a bone in ham. What were my options. 8 pounds was I interested in? I said maybe seven or eight pounds. She went into the refrigerator more than once to show me the size of the ham and the Turkey breast and I appreciate that. I like to see the shape to see how small or big it is, so I can see if it would feed my family. I appreciate all the hard work. I was amazed on how much knowledge she had of the honey baked ham store, plus how much temperature to put in the oven, and how to serve it. I was like wow, and she gave me a piece of paper. That also has information on how to cook and serve ham and turkey. I also noticed that she was always smiling. She really loves her job, She was friendly and polite. Five stars for the HoneyBaked Ham located near Shoe Carnival at the Norridge Commons shopping center just east of Harlem and Irving Plaza. We had their baked potato soup, as well as their Bean with ham soup, and both were as good as homemade! Flavorful and chock full of lots of great ham. We also ordered the Turkey Sandwich. For takeout I got a frozen ham bone so I could use their ready-made soup mixes to make my own split pea soup at home.(that also was excellent.) With the Honey Baked Ham label I know that we are getting quality Meats and all of the side dishes. I plan to use this location to cater my daughter's graduation party. I had $50 gift cards here I got for a gift haha So I honestly one day just went there to spend the entire thing. I came back home with 8 turkey sandwiches 😂😂 BUT they we're the most amazing Sandwiches I ever had. I remember going on Father's day and the lady there gave me a free Sandwich & my daughter a free cookie! I ate them for the next 2 days randomly and even after being in fridge they still tasted amazing and the family loved them also cause no way I can eat 8 of them...
