âââ Updated review below âââ Picking up a purchase made online, one has to go to the Service Desk on the 2nd level where many people go for different purposes. I had to stand in the line like everyone else. All of a sudden a young lady came out from somewhere and asked who was there for pick up only. I was the first one to answer and that saved me from spending another 10 or 15 minutes behind people returning or exchanging items. Some other folks were there for pick ups, so that lady took the initiative and expedited our experience in the store. Kudos to that young lady and Kohl's. I do this review so management can think of something and be pro-active.
4/13/21. Updated review. I went back to this store to pick up something for a family member since I was already at the mall. I was greately surprised that this experience was even better than the prior one. Now, I found out Kohl's has a designated area for customers in their parking lot on the 2nd level where you can pick up your purchases without getting out of your car. Just show your bar code received on your phone confirming your items are ready at the store. In my case, I was lucky to meet Maya, a young and extremely helpful and courteous lady who met me while I was parking my car. She obtained the scan and brought out my items. What an excellent concept, performed by the wonderful Maya. Very, very good for Kohl's. I find this idea most helpful for those moms who must drive with their kids, babies or older, without ever exiting...

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience 6/12/25 around 7pm was disappointing enough to speak up. I went in for a return and was immediately told I couldnât do it because I didnât have a receiptâdespite the storeâs clear âno receipt, no problemâ policy. The employee who assisted me was dull, dismissive, and made it clear that helping me was an inconvenience. Rather than trying to resolve the issue, she passed me off to another employee without much explanation.
The second person processed the return, but when I tried to be friendly and ask how his day was going, he completely ignored me. The whole interaction felt cold and uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, the first employee was loudly complaining about how her line hadnât stopped since her shift started. I understand retail can be stressful, but itâs not the customerâs fault for showing up. If doing your job feels like a burden, maybe itâs time to reevaluate how you approach it.
I walked out with my return completed, but the attitude and lack of basic courtesy made the experience frustrating and unwelcoming. Definitely not the level of service I expect...
Read moreI originally went for two things. The first was to return an item to Amazon. The second was to rework/retool/ makeover my entire makeup collection.
Amazon return; was fine once I got TO the counter. There were 2 people ahead of me and 1 being helped when I got on line. I was there for at least 45 minutes. By the time I was up, there was a very long line behind me. The people in front of me weren't returning anything complicated and had barcodes ready to scan and go. I have no idea what the holdup was. But it was annoying.
After that, I went down to the makeup area. There were at least 3 employees there at the makeup counter...cash register more than a counter. I wasn't acknowledged and after wandering around just looking I decided to go buy an entire new makeup pallet from somewhere that would at least acknowledge me when I ask for help. I probably could have made a scene but why bother? I'll go spend...
