We drove from Evanston to checkout this store. I get their magazine and emails. I loved the style and wanted to see if it was the quality I thought. The 3 rating was simply because I could not enjoy looking at all the beautiful furnishings. As my husband and I were approached by a sales person every 2 mins! It was as if they didn't see each other approaching us every 2 mins which became a rude experience. It stole my oppurtunity to enjoy the beautiful furnishings and design.
A good sales person or team should communicate to each other so this doesn't happen to a store visitor, especially sine there were no others in the store. Have they already been approached? Maybe assign only one person to the potential client. It would have been easier to swim in a den of sharks! At our final turn in the store, I felt anxious, I knew my husband wanted to run out the door. I was taking things in as fast as I could so I could run with him. We were however caught by yet another sales rep, making this the 10th approach within maybe 1000 square ft. Seriously?
Sadly this sales person was probably forced to pull out the old sales trick for forcing engagement asking us to play a question answer game. I immediately replied, how about we ask the question? Have you seen how many of your co-workers have approached us in the last 15 minutes?
I'm thinking OMG, just leave us alone, you poor commissioned based people! Sorry to be short and rude, but you ruined my entire need to enjoy the scenery! Doubt I will ever walk back in this store seriously. I Will continue looking at my magazine. If I order it will be from the magazine most likely on line.
Hope the leadership will figure out how not to bombard customers walking through the doors. It's the worse feeling. My happy walk through was stolen from me. It's nothing but a negative reflection on the leadership. If it's an upper management directive, sorry people will stop coming to the stores. Sadly didn't get to take any pictures because of all the...
Read moreFriendly staff who want to help, and furniture with classic designs that are neither overly trendy or old fashioned. The biggest disappointment is the quality and workmanship. After seeing a number of pieces online that we were interested in, we drove an hour to this location to find virtually every piece looking like it had been assembled in the dark. Seams were sloppy and visible, gaps around cabinet doors were uneven all around, latches were poorly attached, and the doors on virtually every hutch, cabinet, storage console, etc wouldnât stay closed on their own. Itâs not the most expensive furniture out there, but itâs not cheap either so Iâd except to find quality at least as...
Read moreLove their furniture and customer service. Deliveries are fast and furniture protected. Worth paying extra $20 (when free shipping is available) to ensure safe delivery. Would appreciate alert on day and before they deliver. Called to let them know I could not find the shelf holders in the box. Customer rep was friendly and attentive--deducted $20 from cost because of incident. Thanks so much! Will order again, when I save some more pennies! You get...
