Where to start, 1st off let me tell you what a great experience and above and beyond service i received from TGE Oak Brook location. I know nothing of pools/maintenance etc. We actually went to a couple of different pool stores and to be honest 2 other escapes much closer to our home but i never felt comfortable with the salesperson. Always felt like it was just a sales and you should get this because i'm telling you so. We walked into the Oak Brook location asked for help and Brad Y. came over to help. This was back in august of '19. He explained everything in complete detail so much so that i never felt that i was being "sold" it was honestly like talking to a neighbor/friend about buying a pool. No pressure just patience and answers to all my questions. He was with us every step of the way from financing, to what i needed for my permits to helping load my truck with purchases. He was answering my emails on his days off! How many people in retail do things like that?! When we had some pretty big changes from going from a 18 round to a 15x30 oval he got everything done and delivered without any issues. TGE has became my go to place because of their level of professionalism and customer service especially in these times. I would like to thank Brad Y for all his help with this purchase and his continuous support. Also the install company AJ Recreational did a fantastic job! Big thank you as well to Jose and crew!

Purchased an above ground swimming pool in April 2022, was told there was space with the contractors to build the pool before Memorial Day. Pool was delivered on pallets and put in garage on May 14th. No call, no email, nothing from the contractor. Kept calling and leaving voicemails. Called The Great Escape and they promised to call them as well and call me back. Never received a call back from The Great Escape either. Contractor finally answers my call on June 4th only to tell me they terminated their contract with The Great Escape 2 weeks ago and were no longer building pools. I call The Great Escape and they confirmed they have a new contracting firm as of 2 weeks prior to June 4th and no one reached out to me. Finally got in contact with the new contractor on June 10 and was told earliest pool installation was July 17th. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We go from an April purchase, and promised installation by Memorial Day to July 17th? If I knew all this I would have NOT purchased a pool from The Great Escape. I called The Great Escape on June 10th and they promised to try and find another installer and will call me back. Another day has passed and still no call back from The Great Escape. And to make matters worse, I dug a 20 inch deep hole in the ground so my pool can be semi-in and semi-out and it’s just sitting in my yard wait for a pool to be installed. If you're looking to buy a pool, spa, or anything that they offer, be sure to purchase from Great Escape Oak Brook. We purchased a pool in March amont a million other people who decided to buy a pool during a pandemic. We expected to have to wait a long time for install because of the current situation the world was in. We waited 8 weeks which was expected and informed about from the start. Our pool was installed and unfortunately we wound up being that 1% who had a tare in their liner. This was no fault of Great Escape, it is a manufacture default that happens. How the Great Escape handled it was what made the difference from any other company. They were on top of it and were able to get replaced quicker than I could have ever imagine. They moved mountains to get my issue resolved and rectified. I could not be happier with the customer service I received. I dealt with everyone in the store and they all were amazing. Cory is who helped us with the sale. After that, I mainly dealt with Cory and Sean but if they weren't available, anyone who was available was so outgoing and helped with any question and inquiry I had.
