As micro-budget independent filmmakers, we have always dreamed of using virtual production but didn't know where to start. Our tour of Vū Orlando was an eye-opener; the massive LED Volume left us in awe. The staff, experts in their respective fields, shared our enthusiasm for helping filmmakers at all levels use this exciting technology to elevate production value and enhance traditional storytelling techniques.

This was our first time getting to use a state-of-the-art space, and our crew was thrilled to have dedicated rooms for makeup, a green room, and a large space to take lunch. Filming an outdoor scene during the summer in Florida while enjoying the comfort of air conditioning was wonderful. The space is entirely soundproof, so we never had to hold for sound, which everyone who has filmed in Orlando knows is rare!

Throughout the entire pre-production process, Vū worked closely with us, ensuring we understood how to translate our vision onto their LED screen. Their dedication and expertise allowed us to film in an entirely immersive environment, which was a game-changer for our project. The quality of the work is simply gorgeous, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

I’d never worked with LED walls before, fortunately the location and the directors who I’ve worked with in the past knew this, everyone made sure as a Cinematographer I was prepared and comfortable for the shoot. From tech scouts to camera tests and even support on the day of production, Vu was instrumental in helping me deliver some of my best work to date. I cannot thank the team there enough, you have truly helped me elevate my skillset and knowledge regarding the LED walls and I would highly recommend it for future productions! As a cinematographer I can add that this technology grants you an incredible opportunity to light digital environments for half of what it would cost to light real locations such as what we had in the background, gone are the days worrying about losing the light of golden hour or the fear of an upcoming storm halting production, the beauty you can bring to your production allows you to truly dream again. We did a two-day shoot at Vu Orlando. The space was well equipped both on the technology side as well as the entire space. Our clients and actors were all extremely comfortable and felt well taken care of in terms of green room space. We had plenty of room for crew catering, breaks, etc. In terms of the VP Stage itself, the Vu team was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process.
