Shuteye Brewing — Restaurant in Oakhurst

Excellent brews on a quaint space and chill vibes. They have live music on Wednesdays and Sundays with all local groups very good. The also have board games such as Jenga, UNO, checkers and regular cards to play spades, rummy or whichever game your tipsy heart desires. If you are in the area and Yosemite National Park hikes wore you out stop by this place and get yourself a cold one you will leave with a smile on your face. The owners are super nice and will treat you like family so come and see them and try their Stout is delicious. Wow, what an amazing jewel of an Oakhurst Brewery! This is a MUST stop.

First, the beer was amazing. Oscar (the owner and brew master) clearly knows his craft. We had the Double IPA and the Hazy. Both were perfectly smooth, flavorful, crisp, and just roll across the palate.

The place is super cool. Located right along highway 41, it makes for the perfect stop along the route to Yosemite or happy hour if you’re staying locally. There is a great bar to snuggle up to and larger high top tables for big groups.

Other amenities are snacks and crowlers (all beers are available for a crowler). There were also multiple TVs available for sports, shows, etc.

Stopped by Shuteye Brewery and was seriously impressed. I had the sampler with two IPAs, a red, and a pilsner. Every one of them was pleasantly fragrant and full of flavor. You can tell they care about what they are brewing. My wife had the strawberry aqua fresca, which she said was amazingly refreshing and even got her a little tipsy. The owner was friendly and took the time to recommend some local places for dinner since they do not serve food. We followed his suggestion and ended up having some of the best food of our trip.
