Calm Mountain Retreat is exactly what it is! This trip was just utterly fantastic. Calm Mountain Retreat had everything we needed and then some. It was immaculate and in perfect working order the whole time. Jennifer was on call whenever we needed her to answer any questions and help us however we could. The pictures were lovely but it was even prettier in person. Impeccably decorated and beautiful views. The kids loved the play structure and the game room. We loved our time in Yosemite and having such comfort to come back to, like the hot tub, after tiring days was priceless. They’d thought of every single creature comfort and even had a jar of things you may have forgotten (toothbrushes, razors, chapsticks etc). Calm Mountain is a total gem and anyone would be lucky to be able to snag a week here. I definitely recommend snapping it up before they’re fully booked. Seriously. Stop reading this...

The place was gorgeous, immaculate and impressively equipped and labelled with everything you could think of want or need. Don't know where the light-switch is? It's labelled! Left something behind? They thought of it and it's in the cupboard! Excellent for kids: playground, air hockey, arcade games, nerf guns! Excellent amenities for adults, like fire pit, big green egg, patio and porch seating, and hot tub- just perfect after our Yosemite hike! Bunnies and deer at the back window. Peaceful, serene, inviting, felt like home. So glad I found this place to rest and relax at the end of our West Coast trip. It was perfect. 10 stars, if I could. Jennifer is the best, sending all sorts of info about the place ano area guides well beforehand. Pro-active, responsive, goes well above and beyond to ensure the absolute best experience. Our family of five stayed here for two nights on the way from LA to Yosemite, visiting the US from Australia. We booked directly with Calm Mountain, not via a third party, which I recommend. We love this home! It feels like a true home - warm, inviting and fun. We loved the air hockey table, the arcade games and the hot tub - especially after a day of hiking at Yosemite! The beds are very comfy. The location is lovely- with deer happily lounging nearby. Special mention to Jennifer our host. She is by FAR the most engaged host we’ve ever come across. She is so great at communicating well in advance of the stay, the days preceding the stay, the day of the stay, during the stay and after. Seriously, it’s obvious she puts in lots of effort to be the best host possible. Thank you Calm...
