One drawback to this stop for individuals with mobility challenges. The primary access to the first platform (Antioch and Richmond trains) from the main 12rh Street entrance is stairs. An elevator or escalator down to this level may exist at some other place in the station but I usually just take the stairs regardless, with difficulty. I'm not sure if BART can practically remedy this issue. It could be great if they could. At the entrance you see lots of bad smoking smell. Inside is bit okay.
Escalators will be under maintenance many time. Better to take stairs, bit strainfull and time consuming to cross 2 floor if your coming or going from platform 2.
