Heather, owner of Ethotera Art Studio gave my daughter and I a knowledge enriched opportunity to expand on a passion we all share, art. My daughter (8) and I began taking private lessons last year, as soon as we moved to Ocean Springs, to be able to bond and build on our relationship, you know, mom and daughter stuff. What we didn’t expect was how much we would actually learn! We accidentally stumbled upon one of the south’s most amazing art teachers. We have learned techniques like shading, graphing, proportions, and have been dabbling in jewelry making, collages, block stamping, and painting. I don’t see an end to our lessons. We thoroughly enjoy it and Heather is just such a wonderful teacher/ friend. She’s knowledgeable in so many categories and always has something new to share with us. My daughter took art lessons for several years and I enjoyed seeing what they created each week. They teach them about colors and how to use different media all while making it fun. This was always a safe place to leave my child as Heather, the owner, has an amazing way with children. If you’re just the tiniest bit curious about art, don’t hesitate to visit. Heather and her husband Jason will always make you feel welcome and help with any questions you have. They offer amazing classes taught by local artists. My husband & I recently brought 4 pieces of our "band merch" collection (3 posters and a signed drum head) to Ethotera Art Studio to be framed. I can NOT explain how pleased we are with the final products!

We entered the shop with our items and VERY vague ideas of what we wanted. They spent a significant amount of time working with us and expanding our options and ideas. I felt like they were genuinely interested in the stories behind our pieces and were just as excited about them as we are.

They handled our items with care and love. When my husband brought the final products home, I fell in love with each piece all over again.
