Jimmy's Flowers — Local services in Ogden

I have used Jimmy's Flowers on several occasions their flowers are gorgeous and to me typically worth investing a little more money in. Now the reason for the 3 star review is I had a terrible experience on Saturday and they didn't try to offer me a discount or anything to make it right just apologized. I placed an order for a corsage with Marissa over a week in advance. I showed her pictures of one I saw at Flower Patch I loved and would match perfect for my son's dates dress. I told her I would prefer using Jimmy's if they're able to accommodate what I wanted. She told me no problem they could easily make it with the blue orchids I requested. So Saturday I go to pick up the order and they can't find it. Finally after 10 minutes of investigating what happened the lady working tells me "I'm so sorry we couldn't get the blue orchids in so we didn't make you a corsage." So instead of calling me and telling me you couldn't do it so I could make a choice of checking another flower shop or you giving me idea's on what you could do they decided to just not make me anything or communicate with me.....honestly this was a huge ball drop. Here we are on the day of the dance and they had nothing made. They did make me a beautiful corsage (it worked but didn't match the dress very well). After this experience and how upset my son was I don't know if I'll return or find another flower shop. I walked out of there with a more expensive corsage $27 after taxes (flower patch's was $21 before taxes) and not even what I had ordered. Not a great start to my son's first high...

Every time a loved one passes we create from scratch satin arrangements (fake flowers) in vases. We do this in memory of the person and for it to attend the funeral and then go home with the person grieving for their loved one. We first went to another floral store close by and we were treated like they did not want our business and that satin arrangements were not something they wanted to do. We then went to Jimmy’s and they had a good selection for us to choose from. The friendly staff helping us said that their designer was in the back and to wait to see if he had any ideas. Martin greeted us and we told him our vision for the vase and the theme and the individual it was going to its forever home with after the funeral. Martin is a visionary and was able to take our ideas and expand into a beautiful creation. Martin even told us to see if we could get personal items from our loved one so he could incorporate the memories into the custom piece. We gave him materials and within hours Martin was done with the most breathtaking arrangement I have ever seen. He truly captivated the moment and our family will cherish it forever. We are truly grateful for Martin and the entire Jimmy’s team. Thank you so much for the keepsake, the idea of immortalizing our loved one in an art piece that will be cherished forever. We will never go anywhere else for any type of floral arrangement living or satin. Thanks for being the shinning light during this difficult time...

You never realize you need flowers until the unexpected happens to you... This happened to me... I was so overwhelmed with all I had to do. I was already shook up over my Dads death and What? I have to order flowers? The staff at Jimmys sat down with me in a room away from everybody else in the store and took the time with me and explained to me what I needed. I could tell they felt for me and understood what I was going through. They helped me with ideas and we put some of my Dads favorite things and incorporated them with the flowers to show what my Dad loved and what most people remembered about him. They had beautiful pictures of what they design in their shop and showed me all of the fresh flowers they were going to use right then. I couldn't believe it! I didn't realize how many flowers they have until they showed me. They were so nice and helpful. At my Fathers service I could tell what came from them.You can tell their work. I was so pleased with how everything looked and felt so good and proud that it all looked fresh, and really big and full looking for my Dad and the people who came to say goodbye... Thank you Jimmys for all your hard work in all you do. It shows believe me. I'll never go...
