This is a response to a survey on the ballet class. It wouldnt accept my long review there.
The room is to small. It feels cramped. We have been with this program for over two years. We were told we would be using the upstairs studio and how great it would be. Even during the open hhouse by staff we were told this. The class is then put into a small space when the room next ddoor is open and the wall is collapsible. The instructor is amazing and doing well with what she has to work with but its inadequate and disappointing at best. Everyone we have talked to misses the library because the space and environment is more welcoming.
Having to check in for a class at thefront desk is problematic when there is a line. There should be someone at the door of the class if youre so worried about someone that isnt suppose to be there. I showed up early and had the person at the front desk telling me my kid isnt in the class. Even though its the third week of the class. She had zero idea there were two classes not just one and kept insisting that I was wrong. I couldnt find my reciept because figured by week three there wouldnt be an issue. My kid went i to panic mode of being late for class as we had been standing there for over ten minutes.
Prices are disgusting! When we started the class was $12 for four weeks. Which was amazing. The class eventually changed to $20 for eight weeks. Again not bad. This new facility opens, with a ton of wasted space, the class goes back to four weeks and I am now expected to pay $39. This is poor business practice. Even at the $30 price it’s overpriced. Not only the fact I am having to pay so much more for way less but, families were priced out and couldnt afford to rejoin the class.
Overall not happy. The only reason we have stayed is Kristine is amazing and we love her teaching. We also miss the assitant Rachel. She helped keep kids focused so Kristine could focus on the class overall. It was a much better experiance before coming to this...
Read moreI love the people there who helped us with our 4 years old soccer player to have a good experience with her first soccer team ! I was sad to know that they are struggling on finding financial help to fix their Olympic Swimming Pool. Is the only one around available and a huge loss for the community if they cannot find help. The last thing that I heard was the City was going to vote on that. Hope they can understand the need of water recreation in a desert, for people's physical and mental health would be worthy investment. ( They also could charge extra to help to pay for it in a...
Read moreI just called and they offer a $3 day pass that includes shower. I’m planning to stop there tonight and take a much needed shower first thing in the morning, I’ll update this review after using the facility. Great for people on road trips, camping, climbing etc. passing through town needing a shower. I’m a member of the YMCA in northern Colorado and use that when I’m in town as well as at other locations nationwide but YMCA doesn’t have many locations outside of major cities so recreation and aquatic (swimming pools) centers are usually the next option. Keeps the...
