The park is kept clean year round. The Christmas season offers a stroll around Christmas Village where one can see lights and little constructed houses with holiday themes provided by various businesses, organizations, and schools in the area. There are a couple locations for some hot chocolate to warm up. They have added a train ride during the Christmas Village for the little ones. There is a playground here. One of my personal favorite features is the taco trucks that reside on the sidewalk in daytime and early evening hours year round. In good weather there are tables or grass space, though be warned, the birds in the area also know how delicious the tacos are and may try and lure a guest into sharing. Read moreChristmas Village is a tradition we've had for over 25 years. I really enjoy going to it each year. Seeing Santa is free and you're welcome to take your own photos as opposed to having to pay them for photos like some hacks do. The area is just awful with the homeless and such, but you don't notice it as much when there's tons of people there. They have a small train that gives the little kids a quick ride and my daughters absolutely loved it. I highly recommend visiting around Christmas. The reason for the 3 star review is the area. Also, you wait in line for quite some time to see Santa, and they have a hot chocolate trailer right there, but they don't open until later which seems odd to me. Read moreThis is an awesome place to bring your kids if you live in Davis County! We went during the annual Christmas village and it's super fun for the kids! Just make sure to bundle them up because its all outdoor so it can get very cold walking around. It's also best to visit the village at night to see all of the amazing lights as well. They do have a general store for chistmas treats if your willing to pay and they have a Santa Clause you can visit during visiting hours.
