I just wanted to say that I was there today and the girl went above and beyond to be kind to me out of her way. She was amazing and outstanding, and it really touched my heart and made my visit to old Orchard Beach much more enjoyable. She was so helpful and not just helpful. She was kind it made all the difference on visiting both Orchard because I had some limitations today, but I also do travel content and I probably wouldn’t have stayed in the area if it wasn’t for her and seen how incredible old Orchard beaches and now I’ve done content for old Orchard Beach on multiple platform that I run and I’m truly impressed with the area and what it provides for families and visitors Thank you so much specifically to the Girl today who helped me at the information center she had an accident it was from a foreign country, but she was outstanding good hearted and kind and so so helpful with information thank you. My husband and I visited old orchard beach on Sept 20-23 2021. It had been 15 years. We expected some shops to be closed this time of year but not to have to pay for parking or find no parking close to where we wanted to go. Most restaurants were closed. The one opened was three blocks from Main Street. Why make it so miserable for visitors who come off season to help support the few places that stay open? If these places stay open for a few more weeks, they depend on available parking. Why charge $3.00 (quarters or credit card) for one hour parking when most shops are closed? Why are there parking lots closed off when they could easily provide parking? And why are most restaurants along town and on the bay closed tuesdays and Wednesday’s. Do they expect people don’t need to eat? Talk to the local businesses and work together before more places shut...
