Seems like they hired a bunch of teenagers with no social skills to run the place. I’ve been to Cavender’s many times in other places and always had phenomenal experiences; however, this place was totally different. It was quiet as a tomb when I walked in with the sales associates just standing in a group talking with each other. No greeting was offered. After looking around for a bit I needed help with boots and I went up front to ask for assistance. The 2 girls just stared and blinked until one of them walked away without saying anything. She went and got a girl out of the back who helped me. She was very nice and helpful.. since the 2 stars instead of 1 star review. When I finally went to check out I had to wait a few minutes for them to stop talking amongst themselves to realize myself and another customer were waiting to check out. The girl was extremely timid and almost acted like she was scared to interact with people and didn’t say a single word during check out except for the total I owed. Really odd. During the checkout process another girl came up and asked if she got a lunch break and questions about her hours. This place is sadly lacking any sort of customer service but the store is clean and organized with...
Read moreI'm always pleased with the selections available .My first visit I had Lauren assisting me.i was extremely impressed with her knowledge of the products and her demeanor, pleasant courteous and attentive. I'm again extremely impressed with Tessa that assisted me this trip. Lauren isn't at 72nd St Omaha store.Tessa is the 2nd rep I've encountered however that doesn't put her in 2nd place. Both of these people are top drawer quality and are tied equally in 1st place. I'm sure Cavenders is full of knowledgeable helpful courteous employees. It is rare in this world of excuses and explaining why you are not getting good service. It's refreshing to shop in such comfort with confidence in the products and quality with fair prices good sales dicounts and even military veterans discounts. We didn't even win that war.i do recommend Cavenders to anybody. Check them out its interesting to see and I'm certain you too will find the welcome to...
Read moreCavenders has always been my go to for buying western wear local. However after being treated as awful as I have I will no longer be recommending people here or buying items from them. Almost going on a year I had them stretch a pair of boots for me when I went to pick them up they had tore all of the stitches front and back. I was upset and told by the assistant manager that they would replace them with another pair. After finding a pair I liked they made me jump through hoops and decided they wanted my old pair back after telling me they didn’t. The assistant informed me that they wanted to send them back to the manufacturer for a refund to them. This is so wrong considering it was their fault for not training their employees not the boot companies. After asking repeatedly for the district manager to contact me regarding this issue I have yet to...
