Rhylan Lang Bridal — Local services in Omaha

I do not typically leave negative reviews, but working with Rhylan Lang was unfortunately the most stressful part of my wedding planning process. I want to share my experience so that other brides can make informed decisions.

I purchased my first wedding dress at Rhylan Lang after being assured by my sales associate that the alterations I wanted were possible. Later, my seamstress informed me those alterations could not be done with the dress’s construction. She recommended I start over, and I ultimately ended up purchasing a completely different gown elsewhere.

I cancelled my original order before production even began. Per the contract, my $1,500 down payment was nonrefundable. Rhylan Lang issued me a $1,050 in-store credit, but retained $450 without explanation. I used the credit toward a veil that was priced at $800 (worth noting: I later learned comparable veils can be made for a fraction of the cost).

I paid for rush shipping and requested that the veil be mailed to me when it arrived. Communication became very difficult at this point — it took over a week to receive a call back, leaving me just 23 days before my wedding. Several employees I spoke with could not provide clear information on the status of my veil or the remaining $200 of credit.

In my final interaction, my sales associate asked if I already had the veil, even though I had been requesting tracking information. I eventually received tracking, but was told my account credit had been “zeroed out” because it was “too late.” I was also told it was “nice” they had given me a credit at all, despite the fact that I had cancelled before production started due to being misinformed by their staff about possible alterations.

Based on my experience, I felt communication was inconsistent, policies were unclear, and my concerns were not handled with professionalism. While every bride’s experience may differ, I would not recommend Rhylan Lang given the challenges and...

I cannot recommend Rhylan Lang enough! I live several hours from Omaha, and I am pregnant (both for trying on dresses and for my wedding) and their team did everything possible to accommodate my situations. First, when Sienna noticed that I scheduled an appointment and that my wedding was 3 months away, she called me the next day to have me come in earlier, and even though she wasn’t doing my fitting, she came to say hi and congratulated me when I arrived which was so appreciated. They only pulled dresses that they knew they could get my short time frame which was so nice to know going into the fitting. Cori helped me with my fitting and she was AMAZING. She listened to all of my needs, had fun with me, helped me and validated my thoughts. I am so glad I had her because she made my first experience trying on dresses to be the best experience I ever had. I tried a few more stores in Lincoln and Omaha afterwards but returned to Rhylan Lang the next day to get my perfect dress I had thought of all night. Patty and Tracy (owner) were there when I picked up my dress and helped me coordinate my alterations in the Omaha area with me living so far away. They’re both the sweetest people. Tracy even ran my dress to the alterations location so that I didn’t have to make the 6 hour trip there and back just to move my dress around Omaha.

Long story short, they treated me as an individual person and treated my timeline and worries with respect and met every single one of my wishes and more. I would say that I almost picked my dress because of how amazing their team is, but I will say, my dress is a stunner on its own too! ❤️ They even helped me to figure out how to make it my own (belt and amazing veil).
