I would love to shop here, but the staff are TRAINED to harass you and “help” you. They have a chip on their shoulders and fragile egos.
I’ve repeatedly been interested in this store because it looks cool, and the clothes are interesting, but I can’t get 2 feet into the store before they swarm me and try to get me to talk to them.
I’ve been here 5 times in the last year, and there’s always some hair-gel or poofy-head kid trying to chat me up with a fake smile and deaf eyes, which is crazy because they’re all different every time. That’s how I know it’s training, and not temperament. They’re definitely trained to be overly “helpful”, and that’s super annoying.
I’ve been back several times, even with headphones in, and even trying to blatantly ignore them and point to my headphones and say “hey, I’d prefer not to talk”, and other things, but they just keep coming up and getting in my personal space and ruining the shopping experience.
One time I said “I’m not interested in talking, I just want to shop in silence.” And the desk guy said “Oh, you’re not interested in talking? Why not? Not a big talker?” And I was so offended that I just ignored him and left.
The most recent time, there were two, one white guy and one Asian guy, and I said something similar, and put my headphones back in, and the Asian guy came over to the ties I was looking at, reached right past my face in my personal space, and started moving ties around saying “there’s more back here, if you want to see those too.” It pissed me off so badly that I just walked out. Dude. I told you three times I don’t want to talk or be bothered, and you’re blatantly ignoring my request.
I’ve not spent one single dollar here, and I probably never will. I’ve seen the ridiculous replies from their manager to other comments about their terrible and overbearing service and staff, and I hope to God that the owner completely strips this place of all the current staff and fires all of the employees, and rewrites their training manual from the ground up.
If this place is owned by private equity or a corporation, please read this and recognize that men want a different shopping experience than women. Don’t try to chat with me. Don’t get in my personal space. Take a hint, if I have headphones in don’t bother me.
I’m literally posting this experience on every platform I can find so I can warn people away from having the terrible...
Read moreBe ware I bought a shirt for 100$ for my engagement photos. I didn’t like the way it looked so I went to return it. They did not let me return it because there was a tiny collar stain on the shirt and the only way you could tell is if you matched one shirt to another. The guy was laughing at me when I was upset and wouldn’t even take it and say I can’t do anything. Not the great business. Just wanted 100$ back so I can put it towards a wedding but he wouldn’t give me anything. Terrible business watch out for returns. I had this shirt for less then 48 hours tried it on and then took it off.
I am editing my review because I cannot post a reply. I said to the manager that was helping me” if I do not hear back in 3 days I am going to take it to the Better Business Bureau”. That is what I stated. As if making assumptions about my religion and going on a mission let’s not assume things. I did not serve a mission and just because I was wearing a BYU shirt let’s not assume and throw shoots at people. This was a complaint to a company and now you are talking about religion. Not a good look for a business. Also your manager was caught laughing at me on camera and sleeking at me. As well as I am not a person that would take pictures and return the shirt. My ethics are worth more than a shirt. I’d be happy to tell you my engagements are not tell...
Read moreCan’t recommend shopping here, the quality of the shirts is really poor. I initially bought two t-shirts on their Black Friday sale and the stitching around the neck came undone on one of them after I wore it once. I checked the other shirt I hadn’t worn and the stitching was coming out on that one too. I took both shirts back and the person who helped me was really gracious, explaining that they had recently gotten some bad batches from their manufacturer and that they promised it wouldn’t happen again if I just exchanged the shirts, which I did. And the exact same thing happened to one of the new shirts. I took it back in and was met with a very critical response, the salesperson accused me of failing to follow the washing instructions and when I told her I had worn the shirt without washing it, she made an excuse about how the dyes for the fabric can damage the thread they use in the stitching. She finally allowed me to return the shirt, but wrote on both the original and the return receipt that if I brought the other shirt back in with the same problem, it would be ineligible for return. And of course, the stitching came undone on that one too. I’ve worn it a few times since (despite the bad stitching), and now it’s starting to get little holes in it. You’d think for $50 a pop they’d be able to make a t-shirt that lasts more than a...
