We took our 20 month old son here today, and had an absolute blast! Will definitely be coming back and bringing my mom friends with me! Very family friendly, accessible, safe, clean, and fun!
Since the owners asked for honest feedback (they genuinely care and want to improve, and they just opened in September 2024, so obviously there are going to be kinks), I will format this review as Pros & Cons. BUT! I highly recommend you visit if you have kiddos, because it was an awesome experience and overall worth the trip. The website should be done soon, so you'll be able to see hours, menu, etc. We're lucky others posted reviews so we knew about this place!
PROS: Parking was easy to find (and there's more behind the building); the coffee was good; the gift shop was cute; the atmosphere was calm, clean, and bright; pricing was decent ($12 for 2 hours); the service was incredible - all rooms had employees in well-marked uniforms checking on customers to see if they needed anything, etc. The owner was pleasant and efficient despite the large crowd. It was a rainy day, so it was packed, and I didn't realize we would need to wait until the 11am shift to get into the indoor playground. But it was worth the wait! There are 2 areas - the playground and the bounce houses. My son, who HATES bounce houses, ended up watching other kiddos do it and copying them, and he became obsessed! He had such a good time, and I really felt like he was safe and contained. The facility requires parental supervision, and there's no food/drink/shoes in the play areas, which is also smart when dealing with hot beverages. They enforce these rules, offer socks for sale ($1), and have a great balance between mama bears/friendly aunties in their management style. Love it! There are cubbies to store shoes, benches to sit and sip, windows to view from, etc. Lots of new equipment and diverse play areas for different preferences.
Did I mention they sold baby food? My son loved his yogurt pouch! I was so relieved and grateful they had bites for him!
Read moreAbsolutely beautiful entrance! Has so much potential! But was not what I was expecting! Photos show beautiful desserts- but none were available when we arrived. Just Publix looking muffins and cupcakes! Bounce room and play area were visably dirty! Did not have to do any formal check in- no waivers or anything! Staff did not seem to be cleaning up at all while we were in the play areas, and definitely could of used the cleaning while they were mostly empty! However, all of this would of been fine except while playing with my daughter in a bounce house and a strange, unkempt and very suspicious man entered the building and was allowed to enter into the children’s area towards the restrooms! Was only in the restroom for a brief second but looked around without a child present! Seemed to be no protection in place for children playing if strangers can use the facilities that our children should be freely playing in! Please add some kind of check in system and gate for a facility designed for toddlers! Not one mother would ever feel comfortable with anyone wondering the halls of a...
Read moreBash & Brew is such a great find! It’s right in the heart of Colonial Drive in Orlando, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots. I tried their Vietnamese salted caramel coffee, and wow—it was delicious! I also had their coconut matcha, which was really refreshing, and their pastries are awesome. You’ve got to try the salted egg muffin—so good!
The vibe inside is really cozy and laid-back with a vintage, flowery look. They even have a bunch of merchandise from small local businesses, which I thought was a nice touch. But what makes this place stand out for me is the huge indoor kids’ playground and bouncy houses. If you’re a mom, this is perfect. You can grab a coffee, hang out with friends, or even get some work done while your kids are having a blast under supervised care.
The staff is super friendly, and the service is fast. Overall, it’s such a relaxed spot for anyone, but especially for moms who want to chill and let the kids run wild in a safe space. Highly recommend...
